I think a big part of Jodi's anger toward Travis is that he had sex with her after they broke up but kept it on the down low.
She talks about that in her original 48 Hours interview, in her attempt to get a plea deal (which interesting to note is that people plead down on charges, not UP, so the fact that she asked for 2nd degree murder says a lot there), and in her interview after the verdict.
I think this is one factor of many that fuels her rage toward Travis. That he was this popular motivational speaker who also happened to be Mormon (which means no sex before marriage), and he clearly put that out as his public persona, all the while getting down and dirty with her behind closed doors, and making it clear he didn't consider wife material, and that he was moving on. I think that enraged her.
If he had been pulling that with a more stable woman, she would have gotten the hint (like the ones the Hughes tried to give Jodi) and walked away.
Jodi had decided that this was the man for her. He had the money, the house, the cars, the social popularity. And she found him sexually attractive. He was her ticket to the good life.
The fact that he didn't want her was the barbeque, and the fact that he kept having sex with her even though he didn't really want her, was the gasoline poured on top of it.
I can understand why that would make her angry. But her problem is that she wasn't smart enough to disentangle herself from this situation. She had to get back at him and punish him for it. She wasn't going to let Travis get away with treating her like trash. She can't see that it was entirely her own choice to serve herself up on a silver platter over and over again. That is 100% on her. She is just enraged that all her efforts to snag her prey didn't work. And so he had to pay the price for that.
And I think now she relishes the fact that no one knows exactly what happened in that bathroom that day. The descriptions made in court probably come close, but only she knows exactly how it went down. And I also think she loves the fact that she had so much power over Travis sexually. She makes the comment in the original 48 Hours episode that no one except she and Travis know what went on behind closed doors. I think this makes her feel like she possesses him in some way. And the fact that she killed him enhances that feeling of possession. And the fact that all these people want to know exactly how she killed him just enhances the feelings of control and ownership that she has.
I think the small grin she made as she walked away at the very end of the interview after her verdict reveals it all - its the duper's delight smile.

Damn, I missed the grin. Anyway, I agree. I think she believed that once she turned Mormon for him, and had 'secret sex' with him, she owned him. This was the man that she was SUPPOSED to spend the rest of her life with. She didn't think anything could change that because it was what "God" wanted. He'd start pulling away, he knew she was whacked, and she would reel him back in with sex. She knew that was the one thing about her that he had no control over. But as time was going on, he became more and more distant emotionally, regardless of the sex. I think she moved back to Yreka to punish him with 'I'm not going to have sex with you again until you realize I'm the woman you're supposed to marry."I don't think she ever gave up thinking they were going to be together forever. Then, the final straw was 5/26/08. Even with all the distance, the fact that Travis was ready to marry someone that wouldn't be her, she still believed she "OWNED" him. The text messages that day seem to have set off something inside her, that he needed to make a choice. He was either going to be her's now, or he was going to be her's afterlife. One thing I know about the Mormons is that they believe in eternal marriage. So if you marry someone as a Mormon, it really is forever in their eyes. At the point she killed him, I truly believe she thought of him as HER possession forever. She probably still does. She's punishing him for making the wrong decision that day. I think she'll do it til the day she dies. She twisted her life with his life forever, in her eyes.
:o)
Remember that Travis said that he felt like a dildo with a heartbeat? She claims to be so used and abused, but I will always believe she abused him in so many ways. I think her sex tricks got anyone and anything she wanted before and was enraged that ultimately, she knew it wasn't working for Travis. I think the slap to her ego /HOW DARE ANYONE LEAVE ME/ is more what enraged her.
She also hates Travis so much that it flows over to his family. She will NEVER tell anyone what actually happened only so his family can wonder forever. She'll stick it to them until the day that needle flows the juice through her evil veins.
I think we can all agree that Jodi is a kookenheimer. :)

Of Jodi's boobs? Yes! ;)
So do we know for sure that Jodi will have to attend the court proceedings on Wednesday?
Seeing how jodi acts in court and how shes acting post verdict, I cant even imagine how she acted towards travis when she didnt get what she wanted

I'm no legal pro but I'm fairly sure that she does! I hope they don't ban the camera crews because of whatever happened last wed. ........ it's not everyday that we get to observe a specimen of stabby's caliber from a safe distance! not to mention that we're all pretty much emotionally invested in seeing justice for Travis and his loved ones and would like to see his family get to have their say!![]()

I would be so pissed if they exclude camera's on Wednesday. This whole trial is just weird to begin with, so I wouldn't be surprised by anything. I would love to watch her grab a pen and try to stab Nurmi though. Not that I want Nurmi hurt, but you gotta admit, that would be quite a show. I can imagine her jumping up on one of the tables, wielding her #2 pencil. Then watching them zap her with her stun belt. I would pay to watch that shit.

I think her ego and self got into the way of her thinking that there would be consequences for doing that interview. She also seems to think that she is much smarter than everyone else. Look at how she lied during her testimony, as if no one could see that obvious blatant lies she was spewing!
