I'm not going to speak for Coconut but personally I have a big issue with a state in my country with unlimited resourses that would spend 2 million+ dollers on putting someone to sleep.politically this country is so divided and there are so many people pissed off at big government that there is a sentiment of resentment towards government power not to mention the whole police state mentality of abuse of power.Can in the USA you get justice anymore? Yep. It won't matter. A lot of people have been chased away from the main thread, now they've been chased away from here too & I doubt they'll ever be back. Not because they're disappointed in the verdict, but because you can't have an objective discussion on this case. This is the ONLY case you can't speak freely about on MDS. People manage it in every other thread here, & yeah, sometimes it turns into a complete shitfight when people disagree. SOMETIMES. Not every fucking time. So yep, there's not much point, seeing's it's suffered the same fate as the other 2. It's pretty fucking depressing though.

You'd think thousands of pages & 6 (well it was 6, but I'd suggest doing a new tally after you read this) threads repeating a singular message would be sufficient & this teensy little thread could've simply been avoided by those who don't like hearing ANYTHING that doesn't praise the prosecution & condemn the entire defense team. But nope, even this had to be crushed. I expect there are many who are sorely disappointed her entire team aint gettin' stuck with a big fuckin'needle RIGHT NOW. I know there'd be volunteers to hold them down. If these threads get closed, at least keep them public. I expect they'll be useful for some university students. They're going to read very differently in a few years time after the group thrill wears off.


ETA & visiting a thread that doesn't adhere perfectly to your own world view (I'm not referring to mods, because I realise this thread looks like the same shitfight repeated for thousands of pages in the 2 monster threads so I can understand why it looks like it's a waste of space with no specific purpose - but a small copy of the main 2 is NOT what it was ever intended to be), solely to ask for it to be shut down, is a classic example of what happens to anyone who questions the opinion of "the popular kids" in the other threads. So thanx guys, for posting those great examples- you've saved me the trouble of trying to explain the depth of opposition.

I fail to see why this case should have 15 different threads and it's own subforum. This isn't Jodi Arias Space. In the grand scheme of things, considering what site we are on, there have been much more heinous, disgusting, emotionally ripping cases on here than what this broad did. The case went bonkers and so did everyone else who happened to find out about it right before trial started.

Also, anything that slows down and shuts down the site because there is too much fuckery going on is crazy. I don't care what the case is, I am pretty sure most of the people posting are adults. I am shocked that as an individual 'hanging out' in a community of people, it's too hard to abide by common decency and the minimal rules there are. Nobody is challenging freedom of fucking speech.

Yea, I wanted to follow it, but that thread totally turned me off. I mean I actually started actively avoiding mentions of it because of the annoying shit in there.

I'm also disturbed that AZ law enforcement is fine with putting away a midget for a brutal murder while a killer is running around free.
