Wow, the Fox post interview.... no remorse and no apology to the family... That was one question that the jurors never asked Jodi, "Are you sorry that you killed Travis?"... She was just ashamed..... The 2 things I found strange about her Fox News interview is the part where he asks her about her time with Ryan Burns she says she felt safe but she also felt she had to keep up the PRETENSE. (Strange choice of words especially while continuing to deny premeditation). The second thing that was way beyond wrong was when she was asks if she avoided eye contact with Travis's family and she said that she did because they all look like Travis and she did not want to be reminded of her abuser. Oh how I hope they give her the DP!!!

Agree. Up until now, Travis' family and friends have had to sit quietly....contain their emotions and grief and anguish....because of HER rights to a fair trial. And they respected and restrained themselves with grace and dignity. Now, she is guilty. The rules have changed. Now, it is THEIR turn so speak and I pray the judge does not deny them that opportunity. There is no doubt that she killed him. And all along, we've heard how Jodi's life has been......it's HIGH time she hears how THEIR LIVES have been, and I hope they reduce her to a quivering mush. She is a coward and she is going straight to hell, no doubt. She has NO redeeming qualities, not even an ounce of compassion for what she has done.

I don't care if Jodi ever gets the needle or not, I want more than that is for her to serve on Death Row. That would be hard on her to not have control over people and she would have no one to manipulate. Alone in a small cell, meals handed thru a door slot. Can only go outside 3x a week for a couple hours at a time. If she is in general population she can continue to use her wiles to get what she wants from other inmates. She could compete in Jail Idol, take classes like yoga and foreign languages and do girlie stuff like playing with different ways to create make up, do each other's hair. Well said! She won't die immediately on dealth row! She will be there 12 years. Alone in a cell. 1 appliance (tv or radio?) and 2 phone calls a week. Alone will be the worst thing because who will she have to manipulate? lol
Life in prison she will learn to thrive like she has the past 5yrs. I heard Travis' sister in an interview (the one who is in law enforcement) and she said she will have happiness with LWOP. Friends and interaction with many women as well as law enforcement.. She said she doesn't want her to have any happiness.

I am going to throw this out and let any criticism fall because I have strong opinions about this case. Many have really gone after Wimott and Nurmi for defending her and I, myself, am disgusted with their tactics. However, an attorney is a "mouthpiece" for the client and, especially in a DP case, the job is to save the client's life. I am a believer that the defense strategy was set up by JA herself and this is what the DT had to work with. JA ran this show and I implore you to really consider what it would be like to defend her. The woman is awful and I am certain that the DT is freaking out at her behavior with this interview and the Twitter account. As much as I despised what was said about Travis and how disgusted I was, I tried to keep in mind that her DT was doing JA's bidding. The behavior of Palin and JA was really sick to watch, but I don't think the relationship is all that deep. JA will listen to no one and I think the DT realized that from day one.

Just one more thing before I close. Our justice system is far from perfect and many innocent people have been convicted and many guilty have gone free. Our system worked today and that gives me hope and faith. I am grateful that defense attorneys are willing to take on clients and represent them because I want to be certain that only the guilty are punished.

I agree, and you stated it very well. Jodi is responsible for what went into the defense, not the attorneys. They didn't make up the story, Jodi did. Plus, Jodi called all the shots. That's the way it works. I do think both Nurmi and Jen threw in some gratuitous nastiness in some of their comments and questions that I don't think was necessary, but apart from that, I can't really fault them, even though they made me furious and annoyed on a daily basis. They were doing their job, which they are ethically required to do by supplying Jodi with a zealous defense.

Also, I am likewise glad that there are attorneys willing to take on defense clients, even reprehensible ones, because our justice system is part of what sets us apart from countries where the accused has few or no rights. Is it infuriating on an individual case basis when someone horrible like Jodi spews lies for months and trashes the victim, but it is still better than the alternative. Even with all Jodi's lies, justice prevailed, and at this point I am pleased that KN and JW did such a super thorough job defending Jodi because it will make a successful appeal almost impossible.

After watching bits and pieces of the Fox interview, I am totally grossed out by that reporter. She only has an outlet to spew her lies if people continue to give it to her. Where were the questions about her lies? Why was he handling her like a delicate flower? The whole thing REEKS of ratings and has nothing to do with what is really important, which is justice finally having been rendered for the victim of a horrific crime.

I won't watch that crap anymore. I'll wait for a journalist with more sense to interview the Alexanders when this is all over. That other thing doesn't deserve a second more of my attention. I know it's way to much to ask that everyone switch off the TV or write a letter to FOX, but it would be healthier, for everyone.

I really hope that she is served with life in prison, only because she claims she wants the death penalty because she feels life in prison would be more torture. Unless she is trying to say that in order to avoid the DP, who knows.

In addition to the great news of her being convicted of 1st degree murder, I won a contest that Shanna Hogan (the author of the upcoming Arias book, "Picture Perfect") had on FB. The contest was to guess the time and date of when the verdict would be reached. I guessed 1:30 AZ time on Wednesday and was a half an hour early when they announced when the verdict was going to be read. But due to Jodi showing up late bc of her "illness" she actually did me a solid and I won! I already pre-ordered the book, but was going to give my other copy to a friend. So thanks Jodi! hahaha.

Someone else may have been tweeting on her behalf, but it was under her name. Donovan should just get her own Twitter, if she doesn't have one already, and tweet things like "Jodi says blah blah blah". Then there is no confusion over who is doing the actual tweeting.
