I heard someone say, on HLN, that she COULD get life with parole.....but I don't think that is the case with M1.

I believe that parole is at the judge's discretion. In other words, if the jury decides that her fate is life in prison, the judge has the option of allowing parole.

I don't see this happening. I think Judge Sherry is as disgusted with her as the rest of us--she just couldn't show it.

I think she'll let her have it when the sentence is handed down...

She's probably trying to play mind games with the jury. Like, she says she'd rather have death, so they decide Life in Prison will be more torturous to her. Except, that she really greatly fears death and would much prefer to live out what life she has left.

Because, when it comes down to it, most of these killers are chicken shit when it comes to their own lives. Look how Jodi cried "ouches" when she supposedly claimed she cut her arm with a razor. Ted Bundy supposedly was shaking so badly when he was taken to his execution that he had to be held up by officers. Others have to be literally dragged. They have no problem snuffing someone ELSE'S life out, but they hang on to their own very tightly.

Yep, I don't believe for a minute that she would prefer the death penalty. She is going to hang onto whatever years she has left, even if they are spent on death row.
