Supposedly saying she would rather have DP than life in prison. I'll give her props for that. She must have some normal brain function because I can't understand why anyone would ever want to rot away in prison.

Maybe she was telling the truth when interviewed by the detective about begging to die. That would make the penalty phase really intense if she comes out and restates that.

Because, when it comes down to it, most of these killers are chicken shit when it comes to their own lives. Look how Jodi cried "ouches" when she supposedly claimed she cut her arm with a razor. Ted Bundy supposedly was shaking so badly when he was taken to his execution that he had to be held up by officers. Others have to be literally dragged. They have no problem snuffing someone ELSE'S life out, but they hang on to their own very tightly.
