(Not sure what, if anything, this might mean, but people seemed very interested in what jurors were wearing previously.)

It's a clue that it's M1. If it is they go immediately to the next phase so the jury will not be making public appearances.

I have to say, watching this ABC15 is refreshing! No screaming, professionals allowed to talk, had a good sounding forensic psycchiatrist on, professional sounding lawyer explaining the legal steps to expect.

Seeing as how they jury knows that despite having reached a verdict, that the case and their job is not over (translation they will not have the ability to speak to the press), they didn't bother to dress for the "occasion."
