Lawyer on ABC said he expects Mi and aggravator phase to follow immediately & will last 2-3 weeks possibly.
Then on to penalty (mitigation phase).

They did a very nice layout of whats to come!

Welcome Starfish!!! Actually, lots more trial yet to be had. "Immediately" (that could be today or tomorrow) they go into the penatly phase, with opening statements, testimony, closing statements...and the mitigation phase following that, during which Stabby, basically, pleads for life. You'll be here for awhile!

I remember Travis' friend saying they banned Jodi from the house, talked to her about their decision, and she still hung around after they said what they said and watched them prepare food for a friend at the house...that is how she will react to the verdict. She'll go, like, wait you mean this thing ends?

I highly doubt that all of those totally convinced of premeditation and/or felony murder going in could have their beliefs turned around in 15 hours of deliberation. I'm cautiously optimistic that it will be M1!
    That's EXACTLY how I feel. I'm 99.9999999% sure it's MD1

Yes, the state presents evidence / witnesses, like a mini trial, meaning it is limited to showing proof to support the cruelty prong.
    Yes, both sides can cross
Thanks WT. Same for mitigation? When are Victim Impact Statements? Trying to kill time, need to pick up a prescription, but I may wait until tomorrow. I'm too excited to go anywhere right now.

Her lawyers have probably told her to look sad, remorseful. They could have another phase to decide her sentence. Anyone's guess if the psycho can follow advice.

In just a little over an hour Jodi will finally be convicted, after being in the estrella jail for almost 5 years.

I want to have a shower, and go to the shop before the verdict is read. But what if I fall in the shower and I'm knocked out.....and MISS the verdict? Or what if the electronic sliding door in the shop gets stuck and I'm trapped inside the shop for hours?

Watching people freaking out on the various Jodi message boards is super entertaining - especially on Jodi Is Innocent. Hi-larious!

All they need to do is bust out that video of her "I would beg for the death penalty"- game over.

Stay positive Pop. I feel very good about this. It's M1
Anything less, the jury knows would be an unpopular verdict. They would probably be in the deliberation room asking for lunch to come in, but apparently they have been seen.

I'm going to bet that the M1 jurors were stronger than the M2 (or less) jurors and convincend the M2 that it should be M1.

Yes same, but, mitigation has a lot more room to ramble on factors they think can show leniency. This should be an interesting phase because it is here we learn a lot of her past and so on. Probably will see her 10th grade art teacher yada yada. More shrinks full of shit, family blubbbering.

Victim Statements should be made usually at the end of the mitigation.
