TR, was that post meant to be so provocative? Was no need at all

We need a verdict soon, so we can stop talking about TV wrestling lawyers sexual orientation.

Sorry I read it wrong, damn DT is trying to own the word victim for stabby in this case.
SO according to what you posted, many of Travis' family and friends can speak and not get interupted or questioned by the DT? I would love to see that! They don't need to go through any more crap from the DT.

I agree. Your list (JA, JW, et al) provides us with plenty of opportunities to do so based on their performances alone without being really mean spirited or tasteless.

UM, no not 'many'. Laws define "victim" in who can speak. It isn't a parade of anyone wishing to spout off at the defendant. And the judge can place limits on time allowed etc to make their court managable. I should mention, there is always the option to write a statement and give it to the judge without speaking also.

"Victim" means a person against whom the criminal offense has been committed, or if
the person is killed or incapacitated, the person's spouse, parent, child, grandparent or
sibling, any other person related to the person
by consanguinity or affinity to the second
degree or any other lawful representative of the person, except if the spouse, parent,
child, grandparent, sibling, other person related to the person by consanguinity or affinity
to the second degree or other lawful representative is in custody for an offense or is the
    accused.

Chalk it up to the wind down after 4 months of constant movement. This really is anti-climatic for the thread right now.

    Yep!

What pushes me over the edge with Katie is that she is completely against gay people adopting. Two of my closest friends are gay, and they adopted two babies, and they are wonderful parents. I am the proud godmother. So I find Katie's stance on that issue deeply offensive.
