The hard of hearing juror was selected as an alternate...so unfortunately we can not pin the blame on him.

She seemed to understand t ha t Travis' s childhood left him with an inability to commit. So sad that his path had to cross with JA.
She is advocating for her friend Travis, so hopefully someone with a better show then HLN will have her on and capture more of the points in the stories.

Yeah, I'm going to be there with you. I just don't understand. They've got the pictures, they've got the premeditation (just the gas cans alone should make that pretty obvious), and they've got the murderer. What the hell are they thinking???
From the jury questions, there's NO WAY there's going to be an acquittal. There's just so much evidence against her. It makes me sad that an actual human being would want her to get away with murdering Travis.

If Robert Downey Jr.s character from Natural Born Killers came alive, (the tabloid reporter dude), that would be Nancy Grace. I'm just glad she stopped wearing her 4 year old's barrett in her hair everyday. I remember when Ms Grace messed up really bad a few years back. Excuse me in advance for not referencing specifics and for paraphrasing, but I have a 2 year old and I'm exhausted. Well anyway, she had this lady on who's daughter had gone missing. Durring the show, she badgered the mother of the missing girl and accused her if not being a good mom and possibly knowing more than she let on. The mom went home and killed herself. Soon after, it was found out the mother had nothing to do with the daughters disappearance. HLN or maybe it was still CourtTV back then, ran Nancy Grace's resume in the ticker tape area for like 2 days after it happened. I thought her career was over then. Guess not.

I worked in women's and men's prison. The women dissolve soft peppermint sticks in water to make hair spray, they use lemons to try to bleach out hair, they use wet tea grounds or wet coffee grounds to dye hair depending on the color brown... and they use Koolaid powder to dye their hair different colors. They get all that stuff from commissary

He didn't pour that water, he tried throwing it into the cup. Look at the picture before you even start the video.. a waterfall.

You are a hoot..I have to tell you I was 21 when Sharon was killed ... that case shocked the nation. I had seen her movies. So those memories are locked in. The prosecutor on the Manson case was a determined pursuer of justice.
Katharine Ross was in the Stepford wives. How cool for Deanna to get that little shot in at JA. Well I am glad I didn't tick you off. I wouldn't want to do that.

I could go into an entire other story with this one. All I'm going to say, is that the people to REALLY DO kill themselves don't spend their lifetimes threatening it. They do it. Otherwise, from my own experience, they use it to manipulate people and get attention.

no, he wasn't free at all and costs the taxpayers a wad of dough. Only difference was he was shady misrepresenting he wasn't getting paid when in fact HIS company was billing vs him personally.

That is exactly how she used the threats. To manipulate, garner sympathy etc

Lemons are an ancient hair bleaching method, but you need sunlight to activate the process. (I am a font of useless and obscure historic trivia)
Koolaid actually makes excellent dye, you can use it on cloth and natural fibers as well.

Since you worked in prisons, I would love to ask a question:
I was reading about the conditions Jodi will be in if she is sent to death row. It seemed very spartan, but it did say that each inmate was allowed two "appliances". There was no list of what appliances were and were not allowed (or common).

What kinds of appliances would inmates usually have? What would be allowed?

Can we choose the appliances for her? I vote for a bathtub and a hair dryer.
