I watched my uncle die of liver cancer in Dec 2011. My grandmother died 11 months later, November 2012. They were my everything. I rushed to my grandmothers house after she passed away and sat with her. She had already been dead for hours. Her eyes were almost black. That's what happened to my uncle too after a few hours. It's very hard to see but they are both in a better place. No more suffering. Death can be scary and beautiful for sure.

They should just speak to Beth Karas only! She's the only sane person on HLN! Did you hear Jinkasoros describe the "chilling" description of a juror flicking her hair, and saying 'phew' before going back into the Jury room: "I think there's dissension!"

If there is a hung jury, can the defense go in and argue heat of passion the second time around? I mean, like the slate is a clean one and all facts from this trial be kept out? I swear, I know what juries are like..

I think Stabby's tweets are going to get much more bold the longer the jury is out!

They will do the right thing. Let's give them time.
Thank you, that was encouraging. I seriously thought late today. But when Beth indicated that they came in w casual clothing and said when a verdict is going to be read, jurors dress up, I thought it won't happen today.

Just NG and the correspondents and all of the speculating. It just stirs up all sorts of emotional crap for the family and friends and the people who are waiting for the verdict. There is no time frame to these things, and no predicting what is going on in there. They keep saying "3 days and NO verdict".....fuck's sake, it has been 13 hours! That is NOT that long. It is so hard for everyone to wait it out, but what is it with them bringing up all sorts of negative crap without anything to base it on! All to keep viewers glued. Every time Nancy rolls her troll eyes, and whines "WHAAAAAAAAAT is goin' on in that jury room.....Joe Lawyer? Jim Prosecutor?" I wish they would say "we aren't psychic, you DUMB bitch!" NG gets homelier with each passing day, that scowl on her face is becoming permanently etched in.

I think so too. I am feeling a little sick thinking they are going to give her 2nd or manslaughter. Maybe the defense did a better job than we thought.

Yes, now that I think about it..why the hell count days????? In fact, the first day was like an hour and they probably choose the foreman. I hate all this speculation. It makes me have anxiety attacks and I can only think that Travis' family and friend are going through.

My understanding is that they are not to consider the DP in this phase! Did I hear that wrong? I understood that that is the next phase and if they can't decide, the judge can call in a new jury. Damn, I hate all this waiting.

If the verdict comes back anything less than M1, the justice system will become a freakin' oxymoron... It will show young women that 'if your boyfriend treats you like crap, then take him out'. It's a wonder why people don't take matters in their own hands more often- revenge medieval style.

I'd agree with cheesy... I didn't watch the remake with Vince Vaughn... a comedy like JA's defense full of lies... unfortunately her comedy is reality and the shower scene was all too real.

Exactly. It's only been 13.5 hours.

NG spent well over a year covering the CA saga and she basically guaranteed conviction. She needs to save face if it happens again.
Seriously, she is a classic example of someone who has bought her own publicity.

It doesnt make him a bad person, it was just an awful decision to continue anything with her. Unfortunately, it was too late in this case. She wound up truly being the worst thing that ever happened to him.

I think the sex was like a drug to him and he was addicted. And with any addiction when the temptation is slapping you in the face it's hard to turn away

Her mom had just started drinking again after 5 years sober, then her mom's boyfriend got a really aggressive form of cancer. The night he died, my son's ex-girlfriend asked me to come to her house, because her mom had just gotten home from her boyfriends passing. When I got there, she was completely fucked up. She had obviously been drinking, but was cognizant enough to walk around and slur talk. She went outside with me, and told me she took some of the boyfriends morphine. I barely knew her, but recommended to her daughter that we call an ambulance. Her daughter said she would be so angry if we did. I can honestly say that's the worst decision I've ever made. I got the mom in the bed. I checked her vitals. She kept wanting to get out of bed to take her meds, and I told her she needed to skip her meds that night. I again recommended we call an ambulance. I should have just done it, but I didn't. I thought everything was stable when I left. At 9 am the next morning, my son's ex-girlfriend was screaming and banging on my door, and when I got to her, she said she thought her mom was dead. My son, his X, her name is Taylor, and I got in my van as fast as I could, and the paramedics were pulling up just as we were. I ran in the house and her mom was on the floor in front of the couch with rigor setting in. She was in a sitting position, like she was sitting on the couch but on the floor. Taylors' current boyfriend had called 911 and attempted to give her CPR(God bless that kid) as Taylor was running up to my house. When I saw her, I just stood there as the paramedics started doing their thing. I'll tell ya, I have never experienced a guilt more horrible than that. I found out several weeks later, that she OD'd on morphine from the mom's boyfriend hospice kit. Had I called an ambulance, she would have been alive.
I've actually attended beautiful deaths, if you can imagine. People who were in the natural dying process, making sure all the family that wanted to be there would be there...making sure my patients were free of pain and as comfortable as possible...walking a family through the dying process, because it can be terrifying if you've never seen it. As twisted as it sounds, I've had my most spiritual experiences, when being with my dying patients and their families. Even when the families couldn't or couldn't handle being there, I WAS their family and loved one. I see death very differently now. I've watched birth and I've watched death. They are incredibly similar in many ways. I see death as the birth of the spirit now. I've often felt as though I've seen the spirit leave, when all of the sudden their eyes would open as wide as they possibly could, as if they were seeing the most incredible thing imaginable. Then the eyes go blank. Sorry, I could go on, but I'll spare you. Now I'm watching my brother die of alcoholism. He's still functioning, but his liver isn't well.
Anyway, just so you all know, I have a really twisted sense of humor. Probably my coping mechanism. So if I make fun of something terribly offensive to you, I apologize ahead of time.
You "lorizfree" are a very special person, to be able to be a caregiver:) I was the hospice caregiver for my Grandmother as she was dying of ovarian cancer, it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and I still have nightmares 9 years after she passed away, most likely because she and I were extremely close my entire life. I had such horrible guilt from not being able to save her, and watching her waste away 24/7 took an enormous toll on my psyche.......... but I would do it all over again for a loved one if their wishes were to remain in their own home and not have to be cared for by strangers. You have my utmost respect and admiration for what you do to benefit others! I have seen several dead bodies and every time feels surreal, your mind has a way of playing tricks on you, for instance........ you think you see the person breathing or moving ever so slightly...............

no offense meant, but in my opinion, it is this very kind of tv CSI expectations that has broken our system! Show me a movie of I can't use my brain to connect logical dots. It doesn't help we have Liars like NG and shows like HLN w the circus creations. Sad and irresponsible of HLN and those viewers. HLN has the spotlight to influence a lot of people on legalities, yet they dumb down mankind with BS, wrong facts, and a lot of screaming. Look at their made up demonstrations, they were false and so bad they were a joke!
