Nope. Mimi Hall testified about the night night she and a group of friends found his body. She said they noticed the smell as soon as they walked in the door. It's something I've always wondered about...both roommates were home that night, in their rooms. I can not imagine wtf the deal was with them.

I am guessing the reason they serve peanut butter twice a day is because it is super easy (no prep apart from putting it in a baggie), plus it is very high in calories, so the jail can reach the target daily caloric intake number with less food and a low cost.
The fresh bread and fruit sound decent. I would get super tired of that much peanut butter. A reporter who tasted the dinner said the "stew" component was actually surprisingly tasty. The veggies and potatoes looked scary.
I don't think Sheriff Joe cares if the inmates are constipated.
Sad thing is, this is only a slight exaggeration.

I personally don't get not investigating a bad odor. I have smelled a body decaying and it is horrible. And, that brings me to the dog. Who feed him during those days? I mean, obviously Travis would not leave his dog alone and with no food. And then poor Travis up there with a resting place for a shower floor. Crammed in there. I get sick thinking of her evil ways.

I feel another day and no verdict. Stabby is back to tweeting and saying how she was willing to accept the murder with what she thought was appropriate time for killing a human being. She sure has the guts and shown she had them.
Roommates girlfriend fed dog. They said they thought the smell was bad trash outside or something... apparently not home much...also air conditioner on in June. Smell probably not too bad until door was opened.
I don't see how, they had both been at work all day and must have noticed the smell when they came home, just like Mimi did. The odor was pervasive throughout the house and the smell of a decaying body is like nothing else you've ever smelled. But both roommates ignored it and went to their rooms to hang out (one with his girlfriend!) Just one more mind-boggling thing about this case...
And they all thought he was gone to Cancun. Although I can't imagine mistaking the smell of rotting flesh for trash, they probably figured that that's exactly what it was.....rotting meat or milk products can smell very foul when they go bad. And these are a bunch of young guys, too. I mean, my son had a potato which had sprouted all sorts of roots, growing under his bed for about a year (his girlfriend had given him a potato, just a potato, for a gift. What does he do? Toss it under the bed, of course!) along with socks that haven't seen a mate in years.

But still their girlfriends came over and stayed lengthy times, so they should have noticed. I don't know why no one investigated where the smell came from? Especially if Mimi noticed it immediately. I dunno.
Waiting for this verdict, with HLN in the background, is TORTURE!! Pure fucking torture. I need a drink.
