I don't know for sure but I agree with you, I doubt the court would wait around for TV networks before dealing with Jury issues. I think the media will get some sort of transcript of what went on.

That sitting picture is when she dropped the camera. I wouldnt be surprised if Travis leaned over to try to help pick it up. That is when she stabs him in the heart imo

I've always thought that the cut to the right side of his head behind the ear was the first strike. I think she was going for his neck and missed. Then as he tried to get out of the shower she stabbed him in the heart. From that point on the strikes did not stop. I also think she shot him for two reasons. One, I think his body was convulsing after he died and she shot him to make him stop. Two, to make it look like two different attackers in order to keep eyes off of her during the investigation. Yes, she thought this far ahead. The two different weapons were all part of her staging of the crime scene. Why choose to stab him to kill him? Because it is more personal. We can all see how she relishes looking at the photos of Travis' mutilated body.

Okay. I am gonna make a comment, and in my head atm, it sounds totally bonkers... she mentions in tape 14 the Sopranos. then says mafia.
Tape 15 her story of the two intruders: I believe there are elements of truth in it, however, is there any episode in the Sopranos that contains a murder like she carried out? I haven't watched it in awhile.
Her references to movies and stuff just makes me think its possible one of the violent Soprano shows had a murder with stabbing and gunshots, overkill, that kind of thing. Is that possible? Or do I really need to shut these damn tapes of and just wait patiently for the jury to come back? lol

Jodi inadvertently snapped the "seated, cross-legged" photo just after the shot -- perhaps trying to get the gun unjammed for another shot.

Why not more blood in the wound? 1) sinus cavity bullet track or 2) she left him in the shower for a long time with the water running over him, washing it out?

all plausible.. it really seems like she took as much time planning how to get away with the murder as she did how to kill him... all part of the same continuum I know.

Even Flores said he couldn't believe "someone like her" could do something so horrific...

I'm 53 years young male and I have never sat in a shower like that. I'm Travis' height, although he's a good bit heavier than I am.

I'm obsessed with recreating the murder events timeline. Keeps me up at night.

when this new thread opened oh some 800 pages ago... musta been a slow trial week, anyway, everyone was talking about these tapes. And I was on stabbyfatigue (again) so I just read thru them recently and decided after the jury got this I would go have a look see. I am almost sorry I started, but now that I am more than half done, I can't stop myself. I find myself wishing that the detectives had gotten snotty and took a hard approach with her. This softness, she doesn't deserve it, and I don't think patronizing her works at all. And I wonder what her defense would have been if all these seeds hadnt been planted about how Travis must have done something to make her that angry, or how maybe he was a player, or that she isn't "this" person everyone thinks. Ugg.
With each video I see her asking about the pictures, and clearly I see that it is so she can make up a story of what happened. she knows they know she was there, she can't explain it.
Mostly I don't understand the psychology behind what drives and motivates her, and I find myself yelling at her to just fucking TELL Flores what really happened, she is caught. I would have folded like a napkin (well first I wouldn't have done this, but if this were me) just to unload my burden and the talking of Travis' family would have been a fabulous reason to show she has remorse, empathy, humanity. but she is soul less. forget pure whore, how about pure evil.

Something that stuck with me in one of those interviews with Flores, is when she ask how many times Travis was stabbed. Now, is that something someone would ask while being interviewed regarding a murder? Ya, that was weird!

I see 2 possibilities... either she was playing "Photo Shoot" (no pun intended) and was saying "okay now lean back, face in the shower spray" "now sit and look at the camera" etc.

OR

it was all done at gunpoint and he had to do what he was told...

either way when she got him in the most vulnerable position (the photo being shown today on the thread) she started the attacks. I say the 1st strike was while he was still in the shower.

On the subject of Nurmi's declaration that Jodi was too smart to make the type of mistakes she did, I disagree. If all deviant criminals were smart, there would be no jails, since no one would ever get caught. Conversely, if all deviant criminals were stupid, every crime would be solved immediately. Sometimes it takes years to solve cases.

Most criminals, even the smart ones, eventually screw up or squeal. I remember one time while as a dispatcher I received a call from a man who said his baby momma was at his home the previous day and he didnt want any trouble. Inside of 60 seconds, I was able to get his name and date of birth. While I talked sympathetically to him, I entered him into NCIC and discovered that there was an active Order of Protection against him along with a warrant for CDVHAN.

A little more coaxing and I had his address, and I had him convinced that it was best to talk to the police to avoid any misunderstanding. The police went to the address i gave them, knocked on his door, he opened it, and they cuffed him. Dumbass criminal!

I disagree with anyone that says Jodi is smart. Just because she is good at manipulating people doesn't mean she's intelligent. Her problem is that she is delusional. Most antisocial murders are. They think they are too smart to get caught. The first trial I immersed myself into was the Scott Peterson trial. Scott reminds me a lot of Jodi. I can't tell which one is more evil. I found it interesting that in the penalty phase of his trial the only person that spoke well of him was his college golf coach. All his old coach said about him was that he was good at golf. That was it.

Jodi was so thrilled to have someone like Travis interested in her. He was popular, well loved, successful, engaging, funny etc. Her ego was boosted having someone like Travis like her. She felt it _____________ her. (acccckkkkkk can't think what word I want here. Help me out). She figured since everyone loved Travis so much and HE was chosing HER....she was something special too and thrived on the self importance of it all.

I have wondered if she had seen Travis speak at previous events before she met him. You can see from the videos of his seminars how everyone laughs and applauds when he speaks. Does anyone know if Jodi actually made any money with PPL?

Fyi on my murder trial when we got the case ... a young woman offered to be first-person as soon as we assembled ... no one objected and she was a smart cookie. Our group ranged in age from 20's to 60's. She was very organized and suggested an informal tally of where we were right from the get go. It is a fascinating dynamic to be a part of
