Forget the psychological mumbo jumbo, when you look at the simple facts, its no denying that this was a premeditated murder. Its not really that hard to determine imo

    I think it'll be a hung jury.
We don't even know if that idiot will end up an alternate. They have to go in together and the believers battle the nonbeliever or vice versa. Never know how that will go. I left some jury speaks links in the jury prediction thread. You just never know, makes me a wreck.

The tigers and bears are all because of a juror question posed to Dr. DeMarte. That question ended up costing everyone!

IF anyone is going to court tomorrow, it is going to be a different system - a lottery, so it will not matter when you get there. The lottery will be at 8 on the fifth floor. The sheriff that escorted us out said people were there all night last night. They will have from 7 to 21 seats for the public, depending on how much press.

Katie and another lady were making ribbons for the family, they said they are allowed again.

They can use visual aids for the closing arguments, can't they? I hope Martinez puts up a bullet-point presentation of all Jodi's steps to plan the murder. I think by showing them, instead of just telling them, it would make a bigger impact.

True for us, but the jury doesn't approach it like we do, don't know all that we do and doesn't have the ability to review it every day like we did. They've had a lot thrown at them to distance and confuse so much. JM unfortunately, played into the hands of that mess too much which took time and added more distance from the simple facts. Thank God! killer took the stand and lied to the jury. Hopefully that will be the smoking gun.

that question was in week 1 to Flores. We don't know that that juror is even still there or will be there for deliberations. I honestly think someone would have to be as deranged as Jodi to believe her lies. Even being lied to straight in the face on the stand.

The thought of a hung jury makes me ill.

And if there is a doubter in the group, the point of deliberations is to work it out and come to a consensus. I trust that this group has a lot of common sense. That's all it's going to take. The evidence speaks for itself.

I think we can all agree that regardless of her specific diagnosis, regardless of which expert you support, that something is deeply wrong with Jodi's mental health. She is not well.

What impact will that have on the trial? Will the jury feel some sympathy for a young female killer who suffers from a disorder? Can they help her, send her to prison where she can get medicine and treatment and maybe some day live a productive life? Or should they kill her?

The defense has benefited from all the mental health discussion. The jury has spent so much time getting to know Jodi in detail. She is a real person to them, and she is sick. Is she a monster the same way we look at a serial killer? Or is she an emotionally immature, lovesick outcast who needs help from our society? If she had counseling and medication in 2007 would there have even been a murder?

I can't see another human being deliberately putting another 18 through this but ... the killer proves there are some cold assholes in this world.

who else besides casey anthony and the judge thanked those jurors for their service!?!?!?!? If I don't like their verdict then I will not be thanking them for shit! I've been a juror before, you don't expect any thanks nor should you....it's what we do to support our judicial system.
