What if instead of the bear attacking you, in fact you were the one attacking, slashing his throat, and shooting him? Would that make the test invalid?

Still not understanding how Lions, Tigers or Bears is involved in this. An animal attack is TOTALLY different than a stranger attacking you is TOTALLY different than someone you know and love attacking you. Palin is making no sense in that comparison. There isn't one.

DT is desperately trying to cover their ass when it comes to Samuels getting punked by Jodi. He fell for the 2 "ninjas" crap then failed to re-administer the test when he found out she lied. So, Willmott thinks it's perfectly reasonable to just say "well, there was trauma there, it doesn't matter where it came from". Except it does.

Worse than that, it looks bad because Jodi lied, to a test, to create this so-called PTSD diagnosis. Jodi had no reason to lie to a test, if she was abused and PTSD'ed by Travis. It's all one big sham, and Willmott is trying to salvage something by suggesting Jodi was still traumatized, no matter what the reason.

I think Dr. Jill pretty well dispelled that notion. If I person lies about the circumstance, why would you assume they were telling the truth about anything else, including the symptoms?

And now, thanks to Martinez, we have lions and bears, and gophers!

i really don't know what that juror meant when he/she asked the "your patients are dead" question......could go either way. very well could have meant that you're (ME) here cause TA's dead. you looked at his dead brain. so you are the one qualified to testify. not this other doc who never did do that. or it could have meant that the juror did not think the ME was qualified to offer an opinion about how a live person would act after he was shot...

But Alas! you never know what jurors are really thinking and what they understood until the verdict is read. that is why sooooo many civil cases are settled before trial. jury's are unpredictable. look at the CA trial. i watched it every day. i actually cried when they read the verdict. it changed my view of the criminal legal system forever....

You're right, it's not a big deal. I make typos on death row cases all the time. The report says whatever Martinez wants it to say. If the words are wrong, I "mistyped" them.

It's never been a for-sure thing. Some of the jury questions from the get-go have made me believe that there's at least one idiot on the jury who believes that Jodi (despite confessing) did not do it, or that she had help. Remember the questions about the roommates?

I think it'll be a hung jury.

Just one more comment regarding why i think the defense didn't call an ME to rebut Dr. Horn: they couldn't find one that could.

I bet not a single ME was willing to say that the gun shot wouldn't have incapacitated him or that the lack of blood didn't prove the shot came last. This is very telling in my opinion. Hope the jurors realize that as well.
