The thing I think is ridiculous is her stupid story of how the murder went down. She says she shot him first and he was on top of her wrestling with her and she didn't notice anything unusual? If her story were true blood would be gushing out of his head all over the place! She has seen too many movies where a critically injured person keeps coming at the person. He may have feel on her but that's all.

Hey sweet pea. A coup 're Grace (French) is defined as a blow of mercy, a death blow to end the suffering of a wounded person or animal. It may also be the final event that causes a figurative death. I agree with you regarding the gun shot came last but it was not a blow of mercy. She wanted him really really dead and killed him three ways!

I think she watched too many movies in her life. The whole story is ridiculous. I seriously doubt that (going by her story) a guy with a bullet in his head is going to be worried about going after her. I think normal people would be concerned with the hole in their head and getting help or in the least, helping their own self.

I think the shot to the head was just an afterthought. (Trying to think like Jodi) I mean, she staged that crazy robbery for the gun. She went to a whole lot of trouble to get it and bring it with her. I think she used it in the end just because. Just because she went to ALL that trouble of bringing it. All that planning would have gone to waste if she hadn't used it. So she dug it out and shot him to make it worth her while. She's SO self indulgent. I can totally see her doing that.

Why do you think she brought the knife? Do you think she planned to use both weapons ahead of time?

According to the JAII brain trust people who pronounce it as GREEN-witch are idiots/morons. Guess they skipped the days when she said it that way while on the stand.

Nope. This means they definitely saw those days & they're running a little test to see if they've pulled in some real live JA supporters with their fake site. Check out Encyclopaedia Dramatica's Jodi page & all the links on it. They WANT JAII to completely piss people off & get referenced all over the net. That's the whole point of it. If it ever ever was a real support site? That went out the window the day E.D linked it to their main site. It's a joke & a bunch of people are enjoying every bit of upset it causes. I don't mind it being referenced here, as long as it's as an example of people going to extremes to make fake profiles to stir up shit & not as an example of gullibility , because that would give them extra kicks.

This however wins the prize for the threads "Most Realistic Mock Diary Entry""

Dear Diary, I'm so fucked. I don't think they're buying it. Love Jodi

To me it looked like she obviously really wanted him dead, so i think she brought both because if one of those weapons failed, she had a backup

Like for example if she started stabbing him but missed and he started running, i think she would have shot him multiple times at that point

We will never know what was in that crazy creature' s head . But she was suspected of slashing Ta' s and Lisa's tires and testified I believe that former boyfriend Darryl Brewer had knives .... I would not be surprised if in addition to gas cans she picked up one of these knives from him and we are not talking kitchen knives either.

Oh well nite Angiebla. My 7 year old grandson is making his first holy communion tomorrow so I will retire now.

this is actually one of my favourite martinez moments. it makes me tear up a bit.

Holy fuck Sneaks! That's a great find. I'd assumed he had a completely unblemished reputation in his field. I know student reviews don't rate anywhere near as high as peer review amongst the professionals themselves, but to everyone else I think it will carry as much, if not more weight. Wow, you can FEEL the contempt rolling off their words. Even Alyce seemed roundly respected by all in her area of expertise PRIOR to her testimony. If you could find those reviews, surely the defense could? The prosecution will - it's exactly what they'd go hunt down.

It did say in one review that it needed to be made clear that these problems began following a hierarchy shift & name change (havn't had time to hunt down dates etc) - so if Geffner's association came before, then I guess his rep's intact. If he came after though..? If just the teensiest bit is true, & Geffner is still involved with Alliant, then it certainly looks as though the prosecution has an amazingly wide range of choices when it comes to undermining his credibility??

I haven't been reading or posting in this forum because I've vowed to keep all thoughts of JA out of my mind over this week without trial.
    Spring Break

I've suggested that we keep only Travis in our thoughts this week. In the meantime, Tanisha has asked people to join her in a world-wide fast and prayer today.
The jury will get this case on Monday the 6th and that's why I have a special request from all of you to join us as we pray and fast for the Jury, For our Family, For Travis, and For the Ultimate Justice in this case. My family and I will be fasting and praying on Sunday May 5th.

Well, to be fair, he is? Isn't he? He didn't have to drive. He's just lucky the only thing he's getting attention for right now is being booked. Because the truth is, he COULD have had more blood on his hands than Jodi if he'd hit someone. No it wouldn't have been premeditated, but I don't think that really makes the families of children killed by drunk drivers feel much better. We can joke about the trial driving someone to drink, but the trial isn't what made him drive when he could've chosen any number of safe options. Anyone who does this deserves a shitload of negative attention. They endanger themselves & everyone else sharing the road at the time. No excuses. Ever.

If he is legit, why is he going to bat for the defendant? I would conclude he misdiagnosed her same as Mr. Samuels, or fell under her spell same as Samuels.
    [B]
This isn't targeted just at PC, lots of you share this view & I'm genuinely interested at the reasoning behind it - There seem to be a lot of people saying the defense witnesses must be either gullible or disreputable BECAUSE they are appearing for the defense. Do you believe this about ALL defense witnesses, in ALL cases, or just the cases when you think the defendant's guilt is blindingly obvious?

It can also be a finishing stroke or decisive event. I think she shot him after he was dead as a grand finish.

Completely agreed! My face is disfigured and I was trapped in a car when my mom drove drunk. Those were two separate accidents! No excuses, EVER!
