I don't know but I sure hope this board doesn't suffer a melt down while we have another long break. It gets real antsy around here when we are for the waiting for trial to resume.

During our lonnnnnnnnnnnng "recess," I've been mulling it over, and just can't figure it out. Personally, I don't believe the defense has another witness to put on/a sir rebuttal case, unless it's a psych expert to counter Dr. DM

The judge said that Wed. would be a very long day, so my guess is it's most likely one witness, perhaps Juan's last witness (wouldn't be the ME, he'd be quick), and is someone the judge has been notified will require lengthy examination/cross...possibly the rep. from her bank, who might require a few days notice to appear/have a schedule conflict? If it were to be a defense witness, I think the judge would have allowed for more time...you know how the defense drags things out.

So, potential witnesses? Um, the ME, the bank rep, MM, Chris Hughes, one more for defense/unknown...I can't think of anyone else. I just hope and pray the judge didn't grant the defense one last "stab" at it on Wednesday. And yeah, the "down time" is going to fun time here! lol

I don't think distance is the issue, I think the witness schedule is. That's why I think it's the defense psychologist. Because, even though the DT KNEW for more than a year what Dr. D was going to testify to for the prosecution, they didn't start scrambling to line-up someone to rebut, until the last few days/week apparently. At that point in time, I'm sure the psychologist had patients, conference time, or something of that sort.

It could be say the prosecution's bank fraud witness, but she is based in Phoenix; so unless she is out of town on business, I don't think it's her. Plus, she would've been given plenty of notice by the prosecution, unlike the last-minute scrambling by the defense.

They didn't scramble, jmo. Dr Geffner met with/interviewed Stabby. This came out during JM's cross of her when she was on the stand.

I'm going with Dr Geffner for the defense. Who else would take a whole day? The judge, jmo, is being optimistic unless she has given the defense a very short rope with which to hang itself and Stabby further

Agreed... she looked normal.

Not trying to bash, but her mother gives me the vibe of being "simple". As in, not the brightest star in the sky. And I think she's been manipulated by Jodi into believing her BS. It seemed clear from her police interview that she suspected her daughter was involved, but she didn't want to believe it.
