I know there are photos that we had not seen, and there are probably more. Whether the jury gets to see them all, or whether they may have even seen ones that we didn't, I'm not sure. I would have to think that there's no way that photos could be kept from the jury, no matter how much the defense like to holler "prejudicial!", because it's all actual evidence of the crime Jodi has admitted to committing.
Just an FYI .. the link I gave shows Ed is retired from the security position. Probably just advising I would guess.

If they were entered, jury gets them.
If just marked, they don't go back to the deliberations room.

I believe the wounds to the hands must have occured before the fatal injuries, either of the head or the throat

They were entered. Anything shown up on the screen was entered into evidence. They'll be getting all of the pics.

Speaking of pics. My fav from yesterday. What is going on with that tongue of hers? Is it too big for her mouth?

To me, it showed the broke the church's chastity rules, felt bad, sought out counsel from religious leaders, and then repented and refrained from breaking the rules again. That right there shows Travis was no just some womanizer or sex fiend. He felt bad about it, and he was trying not to do it again. But, he's human, and when he had a partner who felt no issues at all about pre-marital sex, he indulged in it again. I do think he still had mixed feelings about it, and I think he felt it was wrong, and if anything, THAT is why Jodi became a secret after they broke up. Because he knew it was wrong, but he did it anyways. He was struggling, and with Deanna it was easy, because she was being strong; but with Jodi, she was throwing the poon in his face every chance she got, because that's the only power she knew she had over him.
The emotional and sexual relationships in the Mormon community are probably the most interesting part of the trial for me. In Travis's behavior patterns, I see some trends that we might attribute to the virgin/whore dichotomy and unrealistic social/sexual expectations of their religious community.

To me it looks like Travis wanted to have sex with his girlfriends, and once he had done that, he tended to put them aside. Not an unusual pattern, but when you look at the religious aspect... was he rejecting his girlfriends for being "impure" even though he was the one who had sex with them? If you look at his dating/marriage goals towards the end he was still trying to find that chaste Mormon woman to marry. Some of the ones we saw testify struck me as very stiff and upright, and maybe that is what he was trying to tell himself he wanted.

I look at the judgemental emails calling Jodi a whore and slut during times they were not having sex. We know that Travis engaged in the same behavior so those judgements apply to himself equally. Did he reject Jodi for her sexual nature because he could not accept his own sexual nature and desires? Did he reject other women because they gave in to his sexual advances and were no longer chaste Mormons?

I agree completely. I was quoting the ME on that is all.

My postion is, She killed him 3x, so which came first doesn't matter to me. She's a psycho and if left to live will kill again.

The nutters are out in full force:

A Maricopa County chief deputy sheriff said the Sheriff’s Office looked into two matters regarding Arias defense attorney Jennifer Willmott and confirmed that at least one of them was a death threat made from out of state.

“It was not even credible,” said Deputy Chief Jack MacIntyre, and he said that Willmott did not want to aid in prosecution, so there would be no ongoing investigation.

But a transcript of another voice mail to Willmott, which was obtained by The Arizona Republic, said, “You don’t have to return my call, but I’m just telling you: If Jodi, if you get her off of the death penalty, we will find you, we know where you’re at, we will kill you. I told Alyce the same thing, and we’re tired, and we’re sick and tired of you defending this person, and we will get you.”

Good luck getting in... I'll be looking for you (remember the camera's usually scan the gallery when at side bar or you can always make an outburst & for sure you'll be filmed)
I know you cannot talk to them, but please send a warm feeling towards the Alexanders, even though I know they must feel the love of others each & everyday, one cannot get enough, I am sure.

Since we're all waiting for court coverage to start. . .

I was listening to the interrogation tapes, and on video 14 there is this section:

4:01 Flores: Did you guys talk when you were en route to Phoenix?

4:07 Arias: Yeah, just briefly. I told him my phone was dying, which was true. Um, I thought I left my charger in Monterey with Matt. Um, I really, honestly, thought that I left my charger there. And I had been talking all day between, just on the phone. Um. I take lots of pictures of myself (laughs).

Did anyone else find it interesting that she threw in the statements "which was true" and "honestly"? At that point in the interrogation, Flores isn't questioning her veracity. He's just asking her to tell the story. To me, it seems she slipped up there and was saying, 'hey, here's something that is true in the sea of all the lies I'm telling you'.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much I can get done in an hour and a half. I don't know how I will ever get back on my regular East Coast schedule when this chaos ends. I hope the jury doesn't get sent home at 1:30 like they did the other day. It keeps me hopeful that this jury seems invested and determined to see this through to the end.

OMG. People baffle me. People that make death threats are complete morons. I am not a fan of either of the defense attorneys. Not because of who they represent but the tactics they're going to to try to get her off.
But to make a death threat against them is like being on the same level as the defendant IMO. These people need to get some help.

I agree. Way too many coincidences for it not to be premed. I think the upside down license plates are pretty damning also, along with her phone charger disappearing, then magically, she finds it when she's out of Arizona. I think deliberations won't be long based on really strong evidence and the jurors own questions.I think Murder 1, LWOP...but maybe not...eek!

Very possible. And I think that we have to keep in mind too, his upbringing. His parents probably did not offer a very good example of male/female relationships. And we know that Travis' mom was very abusive towards him, including physically. So, I don't believe he grew up with an idea of healthy relationships to begin with. I'm sure something like that could have had a big effect on Travis and the relationships he developed.

I think it could be argued too that the abusive relationship Travis had with his mom could have pored over into things with Jodi. So whereas we might all be saying "wtf did he keep putting up with her, or having anything to do with her", we should keep in mind that damage done from his mom.

Certainly his grandmother was wonderful to him and his siblings, once they were able to get out of their toxic home environment, but I think that what he saw, felt and was subjected to in his formative years did stay with him into adulthood. Deanna said that Travis had some positive feelings toward his father as his father was trying to turn his life around. It's possible to me, that Travis looked at Jodi as troubled in a similar way. Perhaps he felt there was good in her and that he was trying to not give up and write her off, as that was a constant theme in his life with his parents.

Poppy, faq, why do people in the gallery look up toward the ceiling at their right? What is up there?
