I haven't heard this mentioned and I'm new here anyway so maybe I missed it but I keep wondering if the gas cans weren't originally taken with the intent to burn his house down? Maybe she decided she cleaned up well enough by chucking everything in the washer so she didn't need to burn the house down to destroy the evidence? Plus, she may have been running out of time and didn't want to risk getting caught setting fire to the house by one of his roommates. I'm sorry if this subject has been beaten to death.

Yeah. I think you're right about that. I know there was a proposal by the judge for a couple of Friday dates, including in May, but we know the 26th of this month was cancelled; it's probably the same with the other date. I would be surprised if we do get another Friday court day from here on out.

I do think Martinez is flying through his rebuttal case, so you are probably right in that judge will wait and see. I am thinking if she allows the defense to re-rebut, then we may get at least 1 more Friday.

I'm not sure how likely that is, but I was reading on ABC that earlier today the defense has asked to bring in a new witness since Dr. D brought up Jodi having BPD and that they say this is new info and they have a right to address it. I'm sure it was already addressed on this thread, but I was a late arrival this afternoon and pretty much haven't caught up the last 2-3 days!

Yes, there was evidence she filled 3 cans in CA before heading to AZ.

I doubt it, there is no way he could reconstruct it to be the same so then it isn't allowed. He doesn't need them. If he'd slow down when he had Stabby on the stand, he could have busted her on the gun too. She said under oath she'd never seen a small hand gun, "just long barrel ones". If she never saw a small one then she never found one on Travis' shelf in 2007!

I think it is possible some shelf evidence could get in, but we shall see. He could possibly show that the specific type of shelf just sat on pins, which would be tippy and not apt to hold a lot of weight.

It has been discussed a lot but I understand it's hard to keep up especially on trial days. Somewhere back in my posts I gave an very interesting clip out of Wendi's appeal I think might fit this case. In that one, the Supreme Court agreed there was NO error. Very similiar here because they pointed out it isn't an error when the soul def was 'self defense'. I'll get it for you and repost it.

LOL..love you too!! Let me know if you need any help w the hubby and his health issues. Women are more prone to heart disease than men. However, men have totally different symptoms. My husband had an upset stomach for weeks. I tried to get him to take alka seltzer and he refused. Then, I wanted him to see a doctor, he refused. I was upset about it. Knowing now that he was having heart problems. I would have hauled him in to the ER. I still feel sick about it.

He's downplaying lying under oath? He's got nothin. There's a couple people on HLN that have to take the defense side that are really reaching a lot.

I hate that show After Dark. The defense usually just takes the prosecution words and twists them around instead of trying to actually prove the prosecution wrong. And there are so many inaccuracies from both sides on that show.
