The cans show Jodi was trying to make sure she had enough gas to get through Arizona without having to buy gas. They are evidence of premeditation.

And more important, this is NOT just "one more lie". Some people might actually buy her story that she lied at the beginning because she was afraid or ashamed. However, Jodi made a BIG deal to the jury about how she was absolutely telling them the whole truth now, on the stand.

Jodi looked that jury right in the eye and said with apparent total sincerity that she returned the third gas can to WalMart, and also that she did not fill up three gas cans in Utah, only two.

Those were LIES. Not long ago "I was scared" lies. Not "I was in a fog" lies. Not "I was suffering from PTSD lies". Those were lies right here and now, to this jury, after she swore she was all done with lies and was telling the absolute truth now. And she told the lies with great sincerity.

So, now that it is proven that Jodi flat out lied to this jury, while looking and acting all sincere, the jury has reason to believe that much of what Jodi said was a lie. There is no more reason to believe anything she says. So if a juror was torn between Jodi's story and the evidence, now there is no more reason to lean in favor of Jodi's story.

Finally a witness who is testifying about TA from experience rather than interpretation of his writing. She is doing a wonderful job in what must be a very stressful situation.

Also that she filled them up in California... and they were empty in Utah... pretty much meaning she used the gas in them in order for them to need a refill....

I know I would be a wreck going through a trial. She is holding up very well for facing a dp. She really does not look all that much different to me, just as ugly when she started as she is today.

Absolutely! Remember the Jury Q: "Why should we believe you now"

This may sound dense, but what is the relevance of Tesero anyone? It was on 6th June yeah?

That is a good point. She used them to get to and out of AZ.

Further proof she had 3 gas can for her murder plot all along

Thank you for clarifying. I understand now why the cans are a big deal.

If she refills the gas cans in Utah, then she had to use them in Arizona. Remember, she originally filled them in California.

I get it now. I asked an attorney here on the east coast, the gas cans are a big deal. Proves she premeditated murder.

Shows she still had 3 gas cans. just more proof of the 3 gas cans. Jodi swore under oath that she only had 2 and never had 3. Now her testimony can literally be thrown out during deliberations should the jury believe that she lied to them.

I was so fixated on testimony when TA's friend was up and the video was playing (TA/Stabby on lap). I really believe I heard JM ask him what that blonde thing was on TA's lap. Blonde thing? Did anyone else catch that or am I just making this up in my own mind?

Yes, I had assumed she would not use them in Utah and stop at the pumps like a normal person! HA! I do recall when JM pulled out the receipt for the gas stop in Utah. She did turn pale. So, she realized she did make a mistake after all. The think w sociopaths is they believe they are so much smarter than the rest of the population and are not prone to making mistakes. This camera was also a mistake. She had assumed that pouring bleach on it would destroy it, or it just got caught up in the sheets while she was rushing around in her fog cleaning.

Was there a receipt in CA to show she filled 3 cans there before she went to AZ? Or, did she pay cash for the gas?

The defense would be wise to not go after her with this aggressive approach. First, because she has already testified that Travis never called her names or raised his voice or mistreated her, in any way. Nurmi risks losing ANY empathy with the jury they might have if he does. Also, it would highlight the fact that his client is the only girlfriend who makes the claims she does about his character. Jodi seems to be the sole person who brought out a negative side to Travis. She was controlling and manipulative and unbalanced.

exactly, she originally said she arrived at TA's at 3 am ... until she found out from Flores there was activity on his computer at 4.

We know Travis was dead being dragged at 5:30
she was 57 miles north of Kingston at 11:30 calling Ryan -- that's six hrs since killing him
She didn't arrive to SLC until almost 12 hrs later at 11:00 am the next day.
