Good catch everyone on the video of Jodi using 'we' on her California travels. Just something that stuck out on her verbal sparring on cross-she was asked a time when she arrived 'cant say exactly, but before Jack went to school' but when asked what time he's at school she answers quick as a flash 'I don't know'. Nothing of importance but the way she likes to play around, toying with words amazes me.....you can imagine when she and Travis were having a barney that she would have a huge capacity to push buttons, and also then have the verbal dexterity to sweet talk her way back into his good books.

Faq - you were there, I can vouch for that, but - it is 175 W Madison, Jackson St on the south, Madison on the North. Courtroom 5C is correct! The one on Jefferson is family court I believe. Madison is south of that. There is a $5 a day parking lot on Jackson right across the street from the criminal courthouse. OR a multilevel garage to the east, by the hour.

Something else you might try if you are going to the trial, the light rail has Park & Ride lots where you can park for free and ride the light rail in. It costs $4 for an all day pass. Personally, I love the light rail and hate parking downtown, so that would be my choice.

Jodi's drawing are of student quality. She has some talent, but she has not learned how to use it quite yet.

I went to school with a guy who wanted to be an artist but he could barely draw. His work was way worse than Jodi's. But he stuck with it and practiced; he worked really hard at it. By the time he graduated, he was one of the best in the class! I was amazed. Anyway, point being, she has potential, but she's definitely drawing at the student level right now. Nobody would buy those if she hadn't killed Travis.

I've wonder that a million times. I doubt all of them can and the ones that can probably not very well is my guess. What she does isn't really important to the guilt phase, jury should be focused on facts not batshit crazy antics. But where I disagree with the layout, court allowing defendants to 'hide' from the jury is when it is a DP case and the jury is to consider things like remorse and the ability to observe her would have helped them with that decision. I comfort myself with, she can run but she can't hide. Be it behind a Christmas tree or hair .... her end is near.

May she never have the privilege of seeing a real Christmas tree again. I agree that while her antics should not be the focus of the jury, they should be able to see her better, especially during the numerous, endless, batshit crazy sidebars. I don't expect to hear any phony remorse from her during sentencing due to the appellate process. She showed none during her testimony and tried her best to trash TA. I hope the jury caught every inconsistency while she was on the stand and the blatant bias of her "experts". TA's character was assassinated by Stabby and her stooges. The stooges who constantly shouted CONTEXT twisted everything to comport to Stabby's story. In retrospect, the whole Defense was ludicrous, but it did distract and distance the jury from the brutality of the murder. DT managed to drag it out (3 witnesses) for almost 3 months. I barely remember the handful of other witnesses the Defense called. I think we are all longing for a good Rebuttal witness to bring this trial back around to the brutal murder of Travis Alexander. When it comes down to deliberations I can't see how any juror will be able get around the law even if they consider self-defense. The slit throat defies self-defense, and I can only see that as a deliberate act intended to kill TA who was already down and mortally wounded. Fuck her and her PTSD, fog, BWS, and every other piece of shit defense thrown against the wall. This is a game to her, and she thinks she is winning. All the better for us to be able to watch her when the verdict comes in.

I have to go on a photography rant for a second. I have said this before I cannot stand when she is called a photographer. She was a server with a nice camera this does not make a person a photographer. Yes, she took a few decent pictures but nothing that was like knock your socks off awesome. When JW asked Dr. D about the deletion of the pictures and said “you know she was a professional photographer” she made it sound like Jodi was a camera expert who has a BFA in Photography. NO, NO, NO, she was a high school dropout who worked as a server and liked to take pictures that does NOT make you a photographer. End rant.
I also want to clarify that I am not knocking or insulting servers. I was just trying to point out that her profession was not as a photographer.

Even with the increasing media attention, I was able to get in touch with Jodi's family simply by looking them up in the phone book and they were surprisingly receptive to my calls. Over the next few days, I would speak with both Jodi and her family at length, slowly gaining their trust.

After about a week, Jodi finally agreed to meet with me for what would be her first television interview.

As a journalist, I had covered my share of crime stories across the country but I had never met someone so excited to be interviewed as Jodi. but that does not appear to be the case. He needed to go so that she could move on but she couldn't with him alive. So she calmly and cold.blooded destroyed him and made sure she killed him daily in the courtroom with her outrageous lies.

Agree with everything but bolded part...to me the murder, especially the 9 stabs to the back and slit throat, screams RAGE. I picture her in a furious frenzy stabbing his back over and over, STAB STAB STAB...then the coup de grace, yanking his head back and savagely slicing his throat ear to ear..."take THAT, you bastard!"

I do think things will begin to move quickly now that they have gotten through all the Psych expert witnesses. The rest should be pretty straightforward and we'll be back to the murder and premeditation.

That was 90% of her testimony, claiming Travis was upsest over every imaginary lie she could invent. Then labeled him with it one last time .......... AFTER HE WAS DEAD

Darryl Brewer actually met with Jonathan Leach around the time of the 48 Hours interview. It came out in JM's cross exam of Darryl that they met over dinner. JM asked DB if getting money for Jodi was discussed and I don't recall the answer, maybe 'I don't know' or an objection by the defense.

I'd love to know all the stuff JM knows about this case but hasn't been allowed to bring into the trial. I hope he writes a book when it's all over, or at least gives a very long magazine interview!

I wouldn't count on him writing a book, he has had some pretty high profile cases in the past and not written about them. I think he is all business. I kinda like that about him. He will probably move on from this and go directly into another case. I too would like to know what he knows, it is obvious that plenty of evidence is being left out due to it being too prejudicial.

I'm a watercolorist. I've done lots of pencil work, but I find it's too controlled. I like the challenges that paint gives me. Jodi's art is reminiscent of tracing stuff kids were doing in middle school. I'd like to see her do something free hand. I don't think she has the vision one needs for it tho.
