well the pictue they compared it with is of Tanisha not Samantha. that said .. it doesn't capture Tanashia at all.
generic, I agree Her nonverbal skills she calls Art is the only place Arias finally has ONE version. Everything she does looks the same like she took those mail courses and never progressed past tracing art. She has no skill to vary features. One set of eyes, nose, lips etc for all. She probably ordered a new trace art kit.

I think that is her point. To make it look somewhat generic so she doesn't get in too much trouble. But she has done others that look like another one of Travis' brother. I definitely see some similarities. She does it to taunt them. Just sayin!

JW wants her to put her spin on those words and check further. JDM just said she can't, because Travis isn't alive. I can't stand JW's desperation to try to make a point. I hope the jury saw it as being really stupid.

Agree. They all have a sameness about them. It's the sort of stuff a lot of teenage girls do when they start taking an active interest in high school art classes. Most of them move on in their work by the time they're 16-17. For some reason Jodi doesn't seem to have done that. It's possible it could be her, but then it could be almost anyone with vaguely similar features. Jodi seems to start out intending to draw famous people but only labels them if they turn out close enough, so it's possible it started out as someone recognisable to most people, but didn't quite get there.

Juan Martinez missed a very hot point on a very very important part of this trial. Killer's effort to make it Travis' gun.
Claims she not only found it in Oct 2007, but used it and saw it again in the desert to get rid of it.
Claims she never saw anything but 'long barrel' type hand guns.
Arias in interrogation to Flores and again on the stand UNDER OATH, states she's only seen hand guns with long barrels.
So by her own statements .. including at least one under oath to the jury ... she never saw a small .25 in Oct 2007
BIG MISS for Juan Martinez of a golden opportunity to catch her in this set of lies and remove any doubt some idiot juror might be holding.
ya ya, I know we all know more than the jury and connect the dots for this killer to be guilty, but the jury is different and I can't believe he missed busting JA in her own trap. Considering it only takes one, this was a big point for removing any 'reasonable doubt' for any juror that could be looking for more.

I'm normally not one to inject anywhere, and not trying to be dramatic but I think its an important point for removing 'reasonable doubt' if even only 'one' juror has that doubt that it might have been Travis'.

I don’t think that Travis knew what he had gotten into with her. I don’t think that he thought that she was anywhere near capable of what she did to him. I’ve heard the term “psycho” thrown around by guy friends talking about their ex’s before. Unfortunately it is common for men to call women “psychos”. I think that he never reported the slashed tires and other stalking type behavior because he did love her in some way. I think that he was a virgin until she came along and not only did he have sex with her but they had ALL kinds of sex. The kinds of sex that most men only get to dream about. I think that she had a special place as his first. He did consider her to be his friend, and I don’t think that he wanted her to get into trouble with the law because of him. Oh, the irony of that statement. He knew that her life wasn’t perfect. Even if he may have been having financial difficulty it was nowhere near what she had. He lived in a large house that was nicely furnished. He seemed to like to have the best of everything. She lived in a room the size of a closet with a dresser and bookshelf. She worked as a server. She aspired to be a photographer. I think upon meeting him she saw the life she wanted. I think that she wanted to be able to settle down with a successful man who could support her while she pursued photography. I think the reality of giving up that scenario to someone else really set her off.
I have to go on a photography rant for a second. I have said this before I cannot stand when she is called a photographer. She was a server with a nice camera this does not make a person a photographer. Yes, she took a few decent pictures but nothing that was like knock your socks off awesome. When JW asked Dr. D about the deletion of the pictures and said “you know she was a professional photographer” she made it sound like Jodi was a camera expert who has a BFA in Photography. NO, NO, NO, she was a high school dropout who worked as a server and liked to take pictures that does NOT make you a photographer. End rant.
I think WT hit it on the head with that last email causing her to crack. Here she is living in a broom closet, after leaving her boyfriend of four years to be with Travis. She converted her religion, fucked him 8 ways from Sunday, and he had the audacity to reject her. I believe that she planned his murder from that point. I also think that she went there she decided to give him a chance to change his mind by using sex. When that failed, she carried out her plan.
There is a lot of “I think” up there, so this is all just an opinion. I also want to clarify that I am not knocking or insulting servers. I was just trying to point out that her profession was not as a photographer.

Hi Carnie. I agree with our puzzlement over our fascination with this.case. last trial I followed was OJ Simpson. I Did not start following this case til she took the stand. I too find her repulsive and heartless.
We will never understand her. The interrogation tapes reveal little kernels of truth (?) When she tells the officer Rachel that she does not know why he was killed and that people say whoever did it Must have been very angry but she was never that angry with him but had been with other boyfriends. She said everyone wants to know why and that seemed to confuse her. I thought in the beginning that she snapped
but that does not appear to be the case. He needed to go so that she could move on but she couldn't with him alive. So she calmly and cold.blooded destroyed him and made sure she killed him daily in the courtroom with her outrageous lies. I think I will go play in my yard today to recharge my spiritual

I had to recharge too. Turned off In Session, mostly because JW got under my skin with her bitchy tones and browbeating. I know she's desperate, but really I feel she was not being professional the way she was questioning the same thing over and over trying to trip JDM on a play of words. But on the subject of the gun, on interrogation tape 16, Flores tells her he thinks she shot Travis while he was sitting in the shower, that is what he says the evidence shows. That would give the trajectory credence. In what position would the lifeless body have to be for that trajectory? Because I think when he is stuffed back in the shower, he is facing the opposite direction. If he was prone, or lying face down, the shot would go from front to back or back to front. Just curious what you guys with IQ's higher than mine (around 60) think!
(also, imo she used both weapons to make it look like two people were involved, she mentions a few times it would take two to take Travis down)
