Another of Alexander?s friends, Taylor Searle, tells HLN that around the first week of June 2008, Alexander caught Arias hacking into his Facebook account and told her he wanted her out of his life. Searle says Alexander called him the next day and read the contents of an online chat between Alexander and Arias.

Searle says he asked Alexander, "Aren't you afraid she's going to hurt you?"

Alexander was killed on June 4, 2008 at his house in Mesa, Arizona.

When I rewatch this cross, I'm even more impressed with how JM handles her attempt to control him and then he uses thats to make her look stupid and show the jury how deceptive she can be.
I wonder if that is his experience at work or if he consulted a shrink on how to drill crazy witnesses. I hope he will agree to a good interview after this is over.

ah, okay --- JM at some point asked her if Matt went to Darryl's and she said no. In interrogation she said told Flores she was alone but I don't remember if that was another word play game, meaning alone from CA to AZ so I think in the mix, I got lost .. maybe near Hoover Dam in a fog. : )

I do think some people can be just born bad ..... nature vs nurture arguments can be made. Your reference last week to t he Bad Seed was perfect. That was an absolutely chilling performance by Patty McCormack ...... portraying a soulless creature. I think that is why people are drawn to this case. I was reading the police transcript on websleuths. The contrast between he r interaction with Flores vs the female officer are interesting ... every sigh and every behavior is noted by the transcriptionist . she seems to get ready to answer them but is always editing herself .... her guard is always up. I guess anything's possible, but the person who posted the story said it was handed to authorities 1.5wks before their post. They posted 27 March (the conversation I saw was in a Topix forum, but it sounds as though they posted on multiple sites). If it was true, you'd think the story would be confirmed by now.

According to the site below, the results should've been through pretty quickly??? The defense would have to be advised wouldn't they? & you'd think one side or the other would find a way to put a positive spin on it? & yeah, toilet paper that survives all that time in a cactus in the desert doesn't sound like any toilet paper I've seen. But I could be wrong..maybe neither side wanted it in? Not sure what the rules are? Would it have to come in? (hypothetically that is, I don't really think the toilet paper-cactus-gun exists)

AFL in Australia involves huge leaps, high into the air, I wasn't imagining anything that high, but this is still a lot lower & wider than I was expecting. So was her claim that he was still in the shower when he flew into his rage? Was he supposed to have done that in a confined space, with sliding doors that allowed an exit point that's generally smaller than most household doorways?

Or is he supposed to have stepped out of the shower first & then suddenly adopted this pose? She says linebacker, but the pose she's demonstrating in court reminds me of sumo wrestling. It's almost cartoonish in it's silliness.

Why couldn't he have said something like "Ma'am, hypothetically, if I was to shoot you right now, in that pose, where would the bullet hit? What direction would it go on its path through your head?" You know, to make the point right there? And then something like "And Ma'am, do you recall Dr. Horn's testimony about the bullet trajectory? No? How about I refresh your memory?..." Was there anything legally to prevent that? Why would Jodi have to be an expert for him to point that out?

I'm not so sure the jury saw the discrepancy, there had been a lot of time and a lot of testimony thrown at them since Dr. Horn...Jodi's 18 days on the stand, all the sex stuff...Also, I think rebuttal is limited to points that were brought up by the defense, Dr. Horn and the linebacker pose were both introduced by Pros. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not exactly a legal scholar here...

It was Jodi who first brought up the linebacker pose in her testimony, so it open to rebuttal.

The last photo of Travis alive ...what is that expression? Fear, terror or profound sorrow?? It is haunting an d heartbreaking. It brings to mind the video in which he re counted his prior near death experience when he tried to convey his terror to the woman in the story through his retinas. How eerie is that? JA her head in his lap Seeming not to listen to that conversation.. but she was.

Back to the post about whether the jury can see Jodi. I'm sure they can see her, but most certainly not the way we do with the cameras zooming in on her waist up. We get the expressions that the jury doesn't because of the closeups. When they show full courtroom, she looks insignificant sitting there.
