    I have a question:
She said she planned to go to Utah to see Burns.. do we know when they planned that visit?
She said she borrowed gas cans for that trip...
The reason I am asking this is because if she was asking for gas cans BEFORE she talked to Burns and told him she was going to visit him, that also can be seen as another little piece to support the claim of premeditation, am I correct? Can anyone give me some info about this?

Yes, that's it. Travis was the perpetrator and Jodi was the victim. Welcome to Nurmiville, how's the weather?

I wonder sometimes if you do this just to stir the forum and so people can start arguing, or what is the purpose of bringing all these absurd claims to a forum that clearly supports Travis and despises that psycho killer.
This forum is open to any and all relevant discussion/opinions on the case. We don't "troll" members with honest questions ..... we only "troll" trolls.

During DeMarte's answer to the jury question about the camera, and organizational thinking (pro Jodi question IMO), Jodi can be seen mouthing a response.

    Can anyone lipread?

I can't lip-read, but she says something about 4:15 and Wilmott makes an objection.
I like the one right after, about abandonment. Wilmott asks her and Jodi acts like she doesn't know what it's about.

The real problem is that the tiger vs bear question was a stupid question. We aren't comparing a tiger or bear or gun or shotgun, etc. we are comparing a TRUTH vs a LIE. There is more to the comparison than just one little detail. There is the fact that Jodi was completely lying about everything at that point. It invalidates the test. Period.

Exactly! My worst fear is in the jury box, a complete idiot!
I give no credit to JD for the way she bungled answer it either. If you take both versions, why not at least take this opportunity to contrast the two versions.

    1. two strangers w a gun and knife break into your house and hold a gun against your forehead, and you see someone you love bleeding and gravely injured, dying
    2. someone you have known intimately for a year and a half steps out of the shower yelling at you with no gun or knifein their hands

I was actually saying wtf to my monitor!

Yes! The shoulder shrug to Willmott! Like "I don't know what she's talking about?"! And yes at 04:15 she mouths something. She either had her head down (in her coloring books) or was very expressive when this witness was on the stand.

I agree! The tiger/bear scenario is not an accurate analogy or metaphor for 'I killed someone', as oppose to 'two people killed Travis, and tried to kill me'!

I found this question was a bit worrying!

M had Demarte read the rest of the "something isn't right with this boy" entry on Thursday so I think that was cleared up.

The bear/tiger question is at 1:20
It's the second part and DeMarte's answer that worries me.
Is it a trick question because bears and tigers don't live in the same habitat?

The question is crazy, I really don't know what the juror was getting at.

"Hypothetically, if a person suffered PTSD because of a bear attack while hiking, would you throw out the PDS test if they lied and said it was a tiger?"

^^That is the actual question. The PDS test is to find out if the person has PTSD, but the juror says he is suffering from it.

"Would the person be answering the question the same, regardless of whether they called the animal a bear or a tiger?"

    How would DeMarte know?

That is the standard against which Arias's countless utterances must be measured. Any detail that is not false, is still a lie if it is Arias's intent to deceive the listener as to the truth about Travis's death.

Q: Hypothetically, if a person suffered PTSD because of a bear attack while hiking, would you throw out their PDS test if they lied and said it was a tiger?

A: Yes, those would be different events. A lot of times what you see with PTSD is that there's different triggering events that remind them of the trauma, so I would expect that a bear and a tiget would look different, smell different, and act different and the subsequent symptoms would be associated with those variables, with those differences among them so I would say they were different and I would.

Q: Would the person be answering the questions (PDS test) the same regardless of whether they called the animal a bear or a tiger?

A: They would be answering it very different.

Specially when the internet is already full of sites like the Jodi Arias supporters full of people without apparent common sense.
What surprises me is that sometimes Coconut brings interesting facts to this forum and then he goes and comments something like "Then the jealousy and control as he tried to poison her advances on other men in his company."
And as you said, I am also entitled to my opinion and that is why I wrote the past post.
This forum is hell of a lot bigger than just this thread. Having your opinion is fine, but the problem with your post is that you've called the entire forum "pro-Travis" & also said the entire forum, with the exception of Coconut, despises that psycho killer. It's almost funny, because in one of my earlier posts I said that anyone who had an opposing view on anything in this thread is either called a troll, or told to go back to JAII. You actually mentioned both! This site is a discussion forum, opposing views are what keep it interesting - check some threads outside of the Jodi/Travis section. If a 100% Travis support discussion is what you're after, there's plenty of other sites to choose from. MDS is not the place to be if you don't like both sides being argued, because you're just as likely to have a perpetrators friends/family jump into a thread, as you are to find a member playing devil's advocate.

I listened a while on the camera man portion till my internet pooped. He said there were other pictures on the card, but the ONLY ones deleted were starting with the sex photos through to the end. There is 5 steps to delete 1 photo. 1. press playback 2. press memory button 3. select delete 4. select how many or which to delete 5. press delete.
I haven't used any of my cameras lately, but that sounds about right. I think one of my cameras is 4 steps though.
He was lucky to recover what he did. If that memory stick hadn't had the sleeve on it, I doubt if they would have recovered as much, because the bleach would have been in direct contact with the entire card. I suspect the bleach got onto a portion of the stick. I don't know the name of that sleeve, but I have one so I can use one memory stick from camera to camera.

I agree, when someone is consistently disrespectful in their posts, it does not further discussion. However, it may not be the case that people are just sitting by and watching it without saying anything. There are some people who I have tried to engage with earlier, but who were consistently rude and disrespectful, so I put them on ignore. I am therefore not sitting by and watching, I choose not to engage with them anymore because of their trollish behavior, and in fact, don't even see what they post. A few months later, on an archaeological dig, I was standing on a hillside in the bush with 20 other students while our professor gave an impromptu lecture. Unlike many Australians, I had been raised with guns in my home. I also had a family member in law-enforcement related employment & I had a fair bit of experience with graphic crime scene photos as a result of that & of my course choices at uni.

In the immediate aftermath of the murder, I seemed to handle the scenes we witnessed a whole lot better than my co-workers - for instance, unlike many there, I didn't faint, vomit on anyone, scream or shake uncontrollably. However, in the middle of this lecture, on a rural hillside in the bush, my blood suddenly ran cold -I'd never understood that saying til that moment. Below us, further down the hill, was a farmhand aiming a rifle at something in our general direction. Rifles aren't an uncommon site on rural properties or in my family. I'd never been bothered by the sight of one before, but I was completely stricken with fear that he was about to start picking us off.

So, no, a bear's not a tiger, but it is large mammal with teeth & claws & a known history of fatal attacks on people. Of course we'd have to interview a wide sample of tiger attack survivors to know for sure, but I suspect she's wrong on this one. I totally get her argument - it's great in theory. But rifle/handgun, tiger/bear - any "exotic" animal with a reputation for fatal mauling would have the potential to set off intrusive memories. They'd see any large teeth or claws & feel it happening to their body all over again. I think even images of a great white shark with it's teeth exposed could do it for any victim of a serious mauling. In real life, the triggers just aren't that specific. A very specific trigger may cause a more intense reaction, but to insist that only specific triggers cause reaction at all, in ALL cases of PTSD is really not correct. If that jury member has a personal knowledge of PTSD they may be very aware of this & Dr D's credibility will take a hit because of it. ETA- daaaamnit. Shoulda stuck to my rule of not posting from behind, just found Anniebelle's & there's probably more..
