you forgot to say hunny bunny.

that pic that i posted, i think that guy looks super suspect. now that i saw the other pics that he was actually there, i wouldnt be surprised that it is him. the other pics, the two other "suspicious" characters - dark skinned, or in the hat and shades, dont look as shady as the guy holding the backpack like a purse.
i believe that just the fact that he is holding it like that, makes it much easier to just place on the ground and walk away.

    but hey, just me.
regardless of what i think, i hope they get the motherfucker who did this - i dont get any fucks whether its a white asshole or a dark skinned lunatic. point is, someone just fucked over about 120 people and their families, and they need to be brought to justice. period.

Noobs.....mods are mods. We have good ones (now ) don't be defensive, you guys have good stuff to add just keep it on topic so we don't have a jodi thread is all bowie is saying.

ON TOPIC : I am super morbid fascinated with the pics from right after the first bomb went off and want to know who was where when they were injured. I am getting the impression the deaths and super grode injuries seem to be around the first bomb, not the second ( i could be wrong but that's my impression) .I wonder why?

From what I've read, the Richard family were running from the first bomb when they were hit by the second. Which makes my heart ache more for them

    Here it is, strmmr:

It took only a matter of minutes, friends would say later.

The Richard family, cheering on neighbors from the Dorchester area at the Boston Marathon, watched runners passing by Monday from Hereford Street in the Back Bay neighborhood of the city. The family decided to take a break and get some ice cream, returning to Boylston Street just before 3 p.m. Monday.

When the first bomb blew, the family tried to escape to the street. Bill Richard was lifting one of his children over a barrier when the second blast occurred, right on top of the family. Although a tree protected Henry, the family's oldest boy, it caught everyone else.

Bill Richard now has ball bearings in his leg. His wife, Denise, has a serious eye injury and was taken into surgery Tuesday afternoon. His daughter, Jane, has a terrible leg injury, and doctors Tuesday night were still deciding whether to amputate. And Martin Richard, the sunny 8-year-old middle child, is dead.

Bowie has to mention what she does because we have a crop of crazy, whiny babies - the likes of which we've never seen before.

You don't know BB, because a lot of this is happening in PMs and in reported posts.

I think most of the pics we are seeing are all from the first bomb. I've been comparing the before pics to the injured pics to try to place where people were. The injured pics seem to all be from the first explosion. The area of the first explosion had the wood type snow fence along with the metal barricade. The second explosion area only had a metal barrier. Most of the injured pics have the wooden fence in them, so they are from the first explosion.

I have seen a couple of pics from the second explosion (I think). These pics don't have the wooden fence. I've seen one with a pile of tissue with, what looks like, some hair with a lower leg laying next to it. The pile of tissue is probably the boy or woman killed. The leg is probably a stray (It looks like a masculine leg).

Another reason I think the pile of tissue is a body is because the pictures showing (in the media) where the second bomb blast was is being blurred out, post bomb, due to graphic content. Now, they are showing the traumatic injuries from the first bomb, but the second bomb is too graphic? No, it's because it's a pile of body and it is easy to figure out who it is because there is only three options, the boy, the woman, or both.

I swear the media likes to just turn everything into a cluster fuck.

The NY Post has a pic on their front cover that they say has two individuals authorities would like to question. HOWEVER, if I'm reading correctly, it is NOT the two individuals they've identified in the Lord & Taylor video.

    http://www.nypost.com/p/news/nationa...ncr0wmysU42scJ

Cops are seeking these two men (above) who were spotted near the site of the Boston blasts.

The man in blue still has the bag over his shoulder in the crowd later, but the black backpack the man in the cap was wearing is no longer visible.
Investigators probing the deadly Boston Marathon bombings are circulating photos of two men spotted chatting near the packed finish line, The Post has learned.

In the photos being distributed by law-enforcement officials among themselves, one of the men is carrying a blue duffel bag. The other is wearing a black backpack in the first photo, taken at 10:53 a.m., but it is not visible in the second, taken at 12:30 p.m.

“The attached photos are being circulated in an attempt to identify the individuals highlighted therein,” said an e-mail obtained by The Post. “Feel free to pass this around to any of your fellow agents elsewhere.”

Meanwhile, officials have identified two potential suspects who were captured on surveillance videos taken shortly before the deadly blasts, law-enforcement sources told The Post yesterday.

Authorities know the names of the two men, but do not have enough evidence to make an arrest for Monday’s attack, which killed three and wounded 176, the sources said.

It was not immediately clear if the men in the law-enforcement photos are the same men in the surveillance videos.

    The developments came as:

    * Leaked photos show that the 6-liter pressure cookers stuffed with metal projectiles was powered by a $3 battery typically used in kids’ toys.

The pictures also included the circuit board, pieces of the shrapnel and twisted chunks of metal from the Fagor pressure cooker.

    * The lid of one pressure-cooker bomb was blown off with such force that it landed on the roof of the Charlesmark Hotel 35 yards away, investigators believe.

A guest mistook it for a hubcap and gave it to authorities.

    * The federal courthouse in Boston was evacuated when a caller phoned in a bomb threat following erroneous reports of an arrest. A threat was also called in to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where several victims were being treated.

    * President Obama and the first lady are scheduled to visit Boston today to attend an interfaith prayer vigil with Gov. Deval Patrick.

They also plan to visit some of the wounded victims. There are 14 people in critical condition, but all are expected to survive.

Investigators continued to sift through clues from the powerful blasts as the suspects remained at large. They took items from the home of Carlos Arredondo, the cowboy-hat-wearing peace activist who bravely helped some of the wounded spectators, including a man who lost both legs.

“They took my clothes, my shoes, my pants, my T-shirt — whatever they needed I provided to them,” he told Boston’s WBZ-TV.

Officials have also asked people to turn in any cellphone video or photos taken at the bomb sites.

Fagor America, the company that made the pressure cooker, said it was contacted by investigators and is cooperating.

The battery maker, Tenergy, said on its Web site: “Everyone at Tenergy is deeply saddened by the recent events at the Boston Marathon. Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims, their families and the Boston community.”

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack, which is believed to be a domestic plot rather than international terrorism.

Mayor Bloomberg, meanwhile, said New York will remain on high alert. There were at least 94 reports of suspicious packages yesterday, although none proved to be a legitimate threat.

The Times Square subway station was evacuated when someone reported a suspicious package at West 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue. Also, cops cleared a Brooklyn Heights bank over a report of a suspicious package, which turned out to be a cup of coffee.

On Tuesday, there were 77 reports that were resolved.

Meanwhile, Port Authority Police officers were in Boston yesterday offering support and refreshments to weary Boston cops.

“We received a lot of support from other agencies after 9/11, when we lost 37 of our police officers,” said Officer Brett Porigow.

    “There’s a kinship and a brotherhood . . . that we all share.”

Authorities are going to release 2 images today of the people they consider suspects:
    http://www.boston.com/metrodesk/2013...rcJ/story.html

Authorities have clear video images of two separate suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings carrying black bags at each explosion site and are planning to release the images today in an appeal for the public’s help in identifying the men, according to an official briefed on the case.

The official said that the two suspects were seen separately on videotape -- one at each of the two bombing sites, which are located about a block apart.

The guy wearing black looks like two different people to me. The guy in the first pic has sunglasses on top of his hat, side burns, and embroidery or stamp on the left breast of his jacket. The guy in the second pic doesn't have the sun glass on top of the hat (and it doesn't look like they are on his face, either), no side burns, and there is embroidery or a stamp across the chest of his shirt/jacket, which also looks bulkier than the shirt/jacket in the first pic.

    Not same cat.

I dunno. He could have easily had a hoodie on him. We don't know the chronology of the pictures. He could have started out with his hoodie on and no glasses and then as it got warmer/sunnier, took the hoody off and put on his glasses.

Like I said in another post, backpacks are very popular especially if you're going on an excursion that lasts all day. Also, the second pic is too far away for me to tell if the sideburns are present or not. I really think it's same cat.

That's true he could have started out with a hoodie. I think I saw other pics of those two together. One where the guy in black is wearing a black backpack that is bulging. He could have put the hoodie in the backpack and that is causing the bulge. I carry a backpack, on long days, and layer. As it gets warmer I start taking layers off and putting them in the backpack. So, that makes sense.

I'm gonna have to go back and look at the other pics.

According to comments on the boston.com article and reddit, the guy in the blue jacket was already cleared-
    http://www.reddit.com/r/findbostonbo...g_suit/c9hinm5

He has a Facebook where he talks about everything but I haven't found his name yet. I am anxiously awaiting the official photos of the suspects to be released! And never trust ANYTHING from the NY Post.

I found a name on another site linked to a FB that looks like the blue tracksuit jacket guy. How do you do a status search? Is it okay to link what I found in here?

I have both names, but I hate to post them and it not be the real people.

I was going to try to do a status search and see if it will lead me to a FB that has the posts on them. I have no idea if I am making any sense. It all sounds good in my head.

No, what you're saying makes sense. And I agree, I wouldn't go posting anyone's name. From what I just witnessed at "nowtheendbegins", it's too easy for someone to take very little info, run with it, and possibly ruin an innocent person's life.

Here is a nice quick little piece from Deadspin that sums up the BS internet sleuthing:

The Boston Bombing Witch Hunt Bags Another Innocent Kid
On Monday, the New York Post doggedly stuck to its claim that 12 were killed in the Boston Marathon bombings. On Tuesday, CNN (among others) reported that a suspect had been arrested, before walking that all the way back. Today, the Post wrests back the "what the fuck are you doing?" crown by putting two "potential suspects" on the cover of the newspaper. They are most assuredly innocent.

The pair show up in multiple photos of the finish line. They carry large bags. They are dark-skinned. This was enough for internet sleuths to peg them as suspicious. (They show up here, in Gawker's rundown of "suspects" identified by crowdsourcing on Reddit and 4chan.) And that was apparently enough for the Post to run with its front-page story today, claiming investigators are circulating photos of the two. (The photo on the paper's cover is a cropped and zoomed-in version of the one taken by Ben Levine, which appeared on Deadspin on Tuesday.)

But maybe there was a reason for them to be at the marathon, wearing track jackets and carrying bags: they're runners.

The kid in the blue jacket is a middle-distance runner at Revere High School. Last week he ran the two-mile in 11:20. Here he is, training either for global jihad or a track meet:

Yesterday he caught wind that his name and social media profiles were being circulated online, and he did what any teenager would do: He panicked. He made his Facebook timeline private, and in one message now no longer visible, he announced he was going to clear his name.

Going to the court rightnow!! Shit is real. But u will see guys I'm did not do anything
(We're not naming the guy or linking to his Facebook page, a pointless courtesy, but we figured we should extend it in this instance.)

Witch hunts end as quickly as they begin. Today on CBS This Morning, John Miller specifically said these two are not the suspects the FBI is seeking. This Boston Globe story sheds more light on the images authorities are using to track down the suspects, and their description makes clear it's not a high schooler and his friend:

The official said that the two suspects were seen separately on videotape — one at each of the two bombing sites, which are located about a block apart.

Here's What's Left Of The Boston Marathon Bombs
These are images of the remnants of a pressure cooker used in one of the devices that exploded… Read…
There's also the matter that his bag isn't even the same color as the one recovered from the scene.

Reddit is panicking too. In the "FindBostonBombers" subreddit, the top post tells users to stop spreading the images of these two, and urges people to delete anything already posted that identifies them.

(The second-top post reads, "Media outlets, please stop making the images of potential suspects go viral, then blaming this small subreddit for it.")

But that's the internet, with some degree of anonymity and expectation for inaccuracy. How will the Post explain away its front cover ("Bag Men"), and the top story still there on the website ("Men in Sights")? Presumably authorities distributed many photos of people with large backpacks and duffel bags. How did these two end up with their brown faces splashed all over the world? Do we even need to ask?

That sums it up perfectly Pywackett! Nice find.

I guess it's apparent that no one learned shit from the Newtown fiasco.

I searched the status posts and didn't come up with a FB for them. The members on the other forum are saying the posts have now been deleted, but I thought it was worth a shot. They are also claiming to have found the guy in the white hat and posted "his" FB link.

They are claiming to have been the ones to break the case and the FBI is reading their forum.

I think I'm reading some kind of gun forum.

ON TOPIC : I am super morbid fascinated with the pics from right after the first bomb went off and want to know who was where when they were injured. I am getting the impression the deaths and super grode injuries seem to be around the first bomb, not the second ( i could be wrong but that's my impression) .I wonder why?
I do too! The girl that died looked like half her legs got blown away from this angle, yet while they were carrying her on the stretcher, her legs are there.
Do you think they just put them on the stretcher?

If you look closely at the girl who lost her leg you'll find it's actually bent and tucked behind her (look by her left buttock).
