In recounting the alleged rope/sex encounter told by Jodi Arias, she added the validating detail that she asked Travis to stop because his 'beard' was irritating her down there and she wasn't enjoying it. Arias stated that Travis did not shave between the time of the rope-sex and the time that the face shot was taken in the shower. The shower picture showed that Travis was relatively clean-shaven. Therefore, if he didn't have the heavy stubble when he was allegedly performing the rope/sex trick, there was no beard to chafe Arias 'down there' and, therefore, that validating detail was a lie, as was the whole episode. Therefore, there was no rope and no knife accidentally close-at-hand for Arias to conveniently grab and stab Travis during her self-defense fog.

So the focus by the Prosecutor on the state of Travis's facial hair was not a distracting detail. It was integral to disproving Arias's lies and served to support the allegations of premeditation. There was no rope. There was a knife. It was brought to the scene by Arias and it was brought there for the specific purpose of attacking and murdering Travis Alexander.

That's how I recall the testimony. Is it accurate?

The only thing that bothers me is the whole "I chose not to get licensed" until a year after graduation thing. Who does that and why would you? I sure as hell got mine as soon as I was out of school...had to get to work to pay off those student loans! Raises a little red flag for me, otherwise I think she seems very credible and IMPARTIAL. (I thought giving books to JA as both Dr. Dick and ALV did seemed to indicate a real lack of impartiality, and Dr. DeMarte confirmed that.)

I've been looking forward to hearing her thoughts on Jodi's psychopathology for a long time and finally the day is here!

I don't see it as any big flag, it was only a yr and the experience sounded like it was a very valuable opportunity. It obiviously worked to her great benefit, she ends up a director already.

To me, her entire demeanor is different today. Her face though made-up looks "steeled" today. She's not as masked but hardened and her eyes are snake-like. Her drawing and writing shows agitation. Seething is the perfect word. Heck, she might even be blaming Travis today...
