But you can't see anything in the photo, can you? Aside from the weird outline? Which is weird, because it makes her look like she's standing, and it also looks like she is holding something in one hand, and raising her other arm up. That really doesn't help Jodi at all, because she said she was kneeling, and if it looks like her hand is raised, it's not hard to imagine that she has a knife in that hand.

I absolutely don't think she has to allow it. But, she has been very permissive thus far, in indulging the defense team in their shenanigans. So, I would be stupified if she disallowed it.

Martinez crossed the line, I think that's clear. Nurmi & Wilmott are public defenders doing their duty to represent a client.

Who the attorneys are as people has nothing to do with who they prosecute or what cleints are assigned to them - it's easy to forget with the lynch mob herd screaming for blood.

The media interest is a by-product of televised trials. Agree it has nothing to do with the attorney's persona, however, it does have to do side that is favored by the public and the media. I dont think Martinez crossed the line if you compare it to the OJ trial.

Eta: Nurmi just scared the crap out of me. I am watching this at home, alone. I'm sitting at my island counter in the kitchen. When they were zoomed in on the eye, Nurmi moved slowly in front of it and all you could see was his silhouette. It looked like a reflection on my computer screen, I thought someone was creeping up behind me for a second. Scared me half to death!

I suppose defense could say that this proves Travis was standing up, and thus not in as vulnerable position as if he was sitting.

The problem is though, there is still no time for the defense scenario to take place. 62 seconds, even if Travis was standing, is nowhere near the time for the "bodyslam" and "linebacker tackle" to take place prior to the stabbing and the body dragging.

Pure fuckery.

But the last photo is of him sitting. Right? Or did they try to suggest that somehow the order of the photos is incorrect as well?

Well, we can't take the Jury there, so that is pointless. Are we just to take your word on it? This is a court of law, it needs to be verifiable to be evidence.

If it doesn't get thrown out I don't see how it benefits the defense anyways - I mean, it doesn't add anything to the story and we all know she was taking the picture.

However, I think it should get thrown out because it just clouds up the real evidence for this case.
