First, I think one more person can be added to the list of:
JODI IS THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME (most to least recent)
1) Alyce LaViolette
2) Richard Samuels
3) Judge Sherry Stevens
4) the 18 jurors in this case
5) Kirk Nurmi
6) the family of Travis Alexander
7) Travis Alexander
Also, I guess Deanna Reid is not going to be heard from. I know the jurors are wondering about her since they asked questions about whether any of Travis's ex GFs experienced abuse, and they were together for 7 years. I can only speculate there was no abuse, or the defense would have called her, and the only reason I can think that the pros. wouldn't call her is she might have some not-so-good things to say about Travis (unrelated to abuse) that would have come out in cross exam, that Martinez felt could potentially outweigh the benefits of her testimony.
Of course there is also Matt McCartney, the only person to have actually 'seen' evidence of Jodi's abuse (neck bruises). The jury must be wondering why they have not heard from him, since questions were also asked about that, and Alyce said his name in her answers. We know why he is not on the witness list, as he publicly stated he was prepared to lie for her (and of course, there was NO physical abuse.)
I think the multiple jury questions about why Alyce believed what Jodi said and wrote when Jodi has been caught in so many lies, and questioning Alyce's biases ('how many men have you ever defended?') show lots of skepticism about Alyce's conclusions as well as her history and body of work. I was surprised by that as I hadn't expected the jurors to have known anything about her.
All in all it seems like a very attentive and knowledgeable jury, and things are not looking so good for our girl Jodi...
