Didnt she speak to his motivational stuff and his knowledge of scripture and helping people? I didnt think it was a bad part to her testimony. I don't know if this has already been raised, but I was always under the impression that in a highly stressful situation the body goes into 'fight or flight' mode, meaning I guess that once the adrenaline kicks in it's either one or the other...so how is it possible that Jodi was able to retaliate (fight) but still have the mindset to flee?

I had to laugh about the whole exchange when Jodi was up on the stand, she was wanting to go into a a full blown lie of how it wasn't her and Juan didn't let her go there, just put the info up, no questions, let the jury decide. Notice too the defence didn't touch it with a barge pole either.

Morning smurfy...I guess what I trying to express is she had like 3 or 4 nice things to say followed by "a lot" of negative things. Probably if I was asked what I have learned about TA my list would be more along the lines of: well liked, successful financially and spiritually, liked to travel, set goals, liked outdoors, overcame lots of obstacles from childhood. He was liked by women. He was a man's man. Thoughtful (cinabon), he was sexual, he kept a clean closet, funny, flirtatious, generous.
I guess my list would just be different.

The jury is on to fact that Alyce is trying to have it both ways when it comes TA. She is saying that TA abused Stabby because it was "safe" to do so and then in the next breath says he had "everything to lose" if she told anyone.
Except TA isn't the one who drive 1000 miles to lure Stabby naked and defenseless, into a sitting position in the shower so he could stab her in the heat, continue to stab her another 27 or 28 times and then shoot her in the head
Stabby isn't claiming that TA attacked her because she threatened to 'tell". She's claiming TA attacked her because she dropped his camera.

I was surprised that she didn't launch right into "I learned that he battered and abused women"! Instead she said a few sweet things about him and then got out the nasty bits. Either way, it struck me as odd that she didn't come out and strongly label him as a perpetrator of domestic violence, which seems to have been her whole purpose in testifying.
