I'm sure you guys have probably heard this it's new to me. How is this allowed?????

I don't suppose that would be allowed to be presented to the jury. I'm sure not, because it's "prejudicial", even though it shows the real Jodi, not this meek little victim-wannabe.

Looks like everyone is getting into position. I really hope it starts at least close to on time. I'm in a blah mood and need a distraction. [/QUOTE]

Yes but she calls that vision of beauty , Donovan, every night to pass on her pearls of wisdom.

Not buying this "poor Alyce" crap either. Alyce, it bears repeating over and over, works in a field filled with manipulative people. Alyce was also hired to consult and create the DV claim. She got her thirty pieces silver.
She seemed to smile and laugh a lot while in recess yesterday. She was talking to her friends in the foyer and giggling. Erie thing was when everyone went down for the lunch recess, she kinda stalked us people waiting in line for the afternoon session. She hung out in the hall watching us for about 5 minutes.

The lawyer on HLN obviously does not like JM's way of handling things. He has been in court against him, he feels JM handles things wrong.

I knew nothing of this case until I was flipping channels (I work from home mostly..no TV 95% of time) saw on Tru TV that this woman was on the stand. I really KNEW NADA. It was her first day on the stand. I had never seen a defendant testify in a murder trial before. I heard some stuff. Thought TA used as booty call. After testimony ended I looked all of the info I could find. Could not believe it. For me, the longer she was on the stand, the more I could not stomach her. Its supposed to humanize her for the jury. She seemed inhuma. Just such a creepy woman. I truly hated her 'When Travis passed away" PASSED AWAY!!!! She brutally butchered the guy!!! Since her testimony I've been hooked. So no tV during the day..but my trusty computer is cooking. She is unlike anyone I have ever seen.

all kidding aside, I'd recommend starting with Ressler. He is older and videos might be poorer quality, but he is far less egotistical than Douglas imo. Both offer value.

You know, it's been pointed out over the last few days about Jenny (867-5309), leaving her cell phone on the desk by Jodi. Sightings of Jodi putting something in her lap and looking down. Now we hear that Jodi is tweeting -- via proxy apparently.

I'm not saying... I'm just saying that it seems odd that Wilmott is leaving her phone beside Jodi, then we find out Jodi is tweeting (supposedly via Donovan).

I have to imagine that Wilmott is smart enough to know that she can't leave her phone on the table and have Jodi "borrow" it to post on twitter. Not making any accusations; just saying that it seems odd and interesting timing.

well, she did take steps to arm herself with a 9mm gun and make plans to disappear right before she was arrested... maybe she wanted more of the thrill she got when she killed Travis...

I thought maybe she was playing with a cell phone the other day (something orange?), but I saw the same orange item yesterday and it was definitely a pencil sharpener. Jodi takes everything to her lap. I noticed her pouring herself a cup of water yesterday, then halfway through pouring she moved everything to her lap to continue filling the cup.

I don't think it's impossible for her to be tweeting via a friend, but I think it'd be close to impossible for her to play with her attorney's phone in open court without anyone inside noticing it. She has bailiffs watching her, a judge, a jury, the spectators, and cameras.

Eww, I bet Donavan loves being in the news even if it makes her look like a used piece of toilet paper (which she is). Maybe she LIKES Jodi using her...

I hope it's about Jodi tweeting. I know the Sheriff's Dept said they can't stop her, but perhaps the judge could.

Granted I don't know much about the legal process, but I am thinking that Defendants are not allowed to make media contact and statements while on trial. How would this be any different than that? She's talking to the public when she should not be allowed to be. I know she is allowed to make phone calls, probably to a handful of people on a list, but she can't just reach out and talk to mass amounts of people on the phone, so why should she be able to do so on the internet?

I'm hoping Judge tells Jodi to knock the internet shit off, or the prosecution will be allowed to bring it in to the jury as to her current behavior/state of mind, etc.

Poppycock said that when she attended court yesterday that she and two others were approached by bailiffs after they were seen looking over at jury and discussing it on a camera feed that sheriff's department has watching gallery. I'm betting they have a Stabby cam as well. She won't get away with much in the court room, if anything at all.

I did notice when they changed the view of sidebars that the one of the ladies to the left of the judge was watching JA on her monitor.

It's very clear, according to her "story", that turning right into the closet evolved into murder. Had she turned left, she would have run to "safety". I don't believe for a minute that someone in fear for their life that had a left/right choice to make decided to run into an enclosed space instead of a clear path to safety/freedom.

I heave no sympathy for ALV either. Anytime I feel the vague tugging of it, I remind myself of the days if babbling nonsense she subjected court to. She is meant to be a paid professional and she has failed miserably. She isn't remotely believable about Arias being a genuine victim. She is defending the indefensible and she knows it. It shows in her demeanour and arrogance towards Juan Martinez.

ALV has shown the jurors that she coached Arias in constructing a battered woman defence. The phrases used by Arias seemed contrived but ALV's testimony confirmed suspicions of this. Remember the jurors questions? Did Arias receive help from counsellors? They were preempting expert testimony.

Ian, your points on the car debt reminded me of Arias' resentful dismissing of TA on the stand. She said something like, "He palmed me off with his car". A other contradiction from her regarding his generosity.
