your not droning on at all! your story is awesome! and because of it I admire super Juan even more now and my heart has another crack in it for Travis's family, the empathy that I had for Stabby's mother & aunt...... not so much anymore. I hope you sit in on court again and share your experience again, it's a treat to hear what goes on beyond what we hear on TV and for those of us that live much too far away to attend ourselves, it's almost like being there........................

It's terrible no doubt about that but as bad as it looks after the fact, and not to sound insenstive but, by comparison of many, he did die quickly all things considered. 62 seconds! There are so many worse murders, many including children where these sick SOBs get their kicks out of hours of toture first. How pathetic is this world that I find myself somewhat relieved when I can know it was at least fast.

Yes, particularly in this case where he had to be in sheer mortal terror for at least 62 seconds (which sounds deceptively short but when you count it down with a timer it amounts to a shot, 27/28 stab wounds and a throat cut, an amazing amount of injury in that short span of time), and I think he was already dead in the dragging pictures, you're right, it could have been much worse.

Those 62 seconds of trying to escape that knife-wielding maniac must have been interminable to him. I cannot even imagine being in such a position. And I pray I (nor anyone I even know) ever find themselves in such a set of circumstances. He really was trapped with no hope for escape. If Jodi had any conscience at all, even a SPECK, she could have stopped inflicting those wounds at any time, called for help, and "manned up" and taken her punishment. But instead she chose to finish what she started.

Absolutely savagely reprehensible.

Rifles have long barrels and make significantly less noise than a pistol. I have a .22 pistol and it's nearly as loud as my husband's .40.

But if I'm not mistaken they didn't mention the rabid pro-Jodi sites or the fact that Jodi, a person in custody, is communicating via Twitter and throwing insults at the Prosecutor... let's get all sides of the story.

This trial is a pea compared to some in our electronic era. Arias is nothing but a small blip in time by comparison. The knowlegable ones at the end of that piece with no agenda to whine as much as Kiefer know the score. Translated it is ... tough shit! Bigger more imporatnt people than a little reporter have tried to stop the masses, camera are still in courts.

EXACTLY! she should hold her head high and proud for getting exactly what she deserves after all her hard work of testifying! and I'm happy to admit that i signed the petition to stop her from speaking at domestic violence groups in Long Beach, CA. I think she made a very grave decision in labeling the victim of a slaughter, the abuser so that his murderer can have a shot of being acquitted......... she should be ashamed of herself for inflicting HER abuse on the murder victims family!!!!!!!

By the time I saw red lights flashing through the closed blinds, and looked out, there were cops everywhere. Turns out they shot him down and I never heard a thing. what is up with hair curtain/helmut, I must have been leaning forward a bit yuk! I see the girl next to me is trying to look at a juror. Woman in front of me, next to pink shirt, was funny. She used the term stabby, so I asked her if she is on mds. she said she is a lurker (second one I met) and feels intimidated by all the smart and witty people. I told her not to be shy! she also lurks WS and thinks there are a few posters that are on both. she thinks this one is easier to follow.

someone asked me a few pages ago which juror was looking at defendant; it is a male second closest to witness, #2 I think, he has kind of a hair helmut and is kind of short with a beer belly. he had on a yellow button up shirt today. some of the outfits were extremely casual. cargo shorts, hoody...

Also, when you see people gabbing during sidebars, there is this buzzing white noise, so it is not disruptive. Also forgot to say we were told by Valerie, the bailiff, NO FOOD. That every noise in the gallery is heard. And of course they have a sign, the seating guy, and Valerie reminding all cell phones are off. They forgot to tell Alyce! The bailiff carried her satchel with the phone in it outside the courtroom.

ETA the old guy in the light blue shirt on the aisle is Alyce's father. Half his right ear was missing. They greeted each other warmly. So does not look like he is the cause of her distain for males.

Courtroom protocol has seemed to step it up since I was there in January. No one looked twice at me. I wish I had a "seating guy" to direct me away from sitting in the front row with JA's mom and aunt and that weird exchange. Lucky for me that it went well and I didn't end up on HLN.

"The slugfest was a stalemate, and trial watchers saw what they wanted to see" . . . and that includes the jury. I am eager/anxious to see what questions the jurors have for this witness. I doubt they saw a "stalemate."

technically it's not clinical as in your world. I was being lazy and felt was easier and faster to go with labels the way dizzy asked the question. It's formally known as typology of which under that comes FBI profling labels.
