Or does this make you feel better: OMG that lying bitch LaViolette! Willmutt is SO ANNOYING I can't STAND the sound of her voice! GO JUAN!!
Yes, I read your whole post and I wasn't criticizing. I was giving my view. Didn't know we had to agree on everything. Criminy.

Another thing I noticed was the entry wound to the forehead from the gunshot. No stippling from point blank range, could she have used a pillow to silence the shot and having the pillow take the burn? Still cant imagine nobody heard the shot as a little pistol with a short barrel makes a loud report regardless the caliber.

Even if this was a sexual offense case, I don't think Jodi's team has brought in enough evidence to prove that Travis was anything more than a typical guy with some high sexual urges. There is nothing in Travis's sex life that I find deviant or strange that I could comfortably pin a crime on him for.

It boggles my mind that this is the defense the team went with. I was expecting at least one witness to discuss the injuries to Travis, but they didn't go with that, even. So strange.

Does that justify what he said during that convo? No. But killing him isnt shouldnt have been the way jodi handled that situation
The problem with judging him for even the choice of words he used is that we have no Idea what Stabby said to Travis in phone calls or did to him in person prior to these messages, for all we know she could have mailed him a rabbit she had boiled! all we are sure of is that she ambushed him and slaughtered him in cold blood (just like a praying mantis does)!

Yup, that's why I say, I'm done feeding their nonsense. Bring me Juan and Walmart!

No one home, windows closed, one shot would probably not even get anyone's attention. If it did, you stop, listen, hear nothing following and turn your tv back up.

Hmm... Watching afternoon broadcast and Palin even tries to stop ALV during her rant but she keeps on rambling on. Maybe the defense is through with her too?

An ex-coworker of mine lived/lives right nextdoor to Travis. I'm dying to ask him if they heard anything. It's a quiet neighborhood and I too don't know how nobody heard the gunshot.

Unfortunately, he doesn't work for my previous employer anymore either and I have no idea where he went. It wasn't somebody I was necessarily friends with so I'd feel a little weird trying to track him down just to ask.

To me, the defense is a joke but they have to do what they have to do and it's not working and never will. They have nothing to go on. Their Alyce is not helping. Making shit up as she pleases and picking and choosing at random what she believes.

Lower, there's a pair, appears that there's one that's sort of going in the other direction, the other diagonal.
Could be consistant with victim having back to attacker like this .. ?
    Yes.
We have nine injuries, and they are all clustered together there in the center. Ah, what you're seeing on the upper left side is actually post mortem artifact. there's some skin slippage there and some drying.
Nine. They are stab wounds. They're all about the same depth, about an inch deep. and they're going into the back parts of the ribs and the spine. The spinal bone and stopping there. and none of them to my exam entered the chest cavity. although with decomposition you can't completely rule that out.
1:24:47 Appear to all have been stopped by the bones.

okay I got it. Those are trails of blood from the stab wounds...

This woman, Jodi Arias, must have compartments in her brain that she can stuff things in and throw away the key because that is a scene of mayhem, and extreme hatred and only an extreme sociopath could commit those acts, dust herself off and head out on another road trip to make kissy-face with another dude.

He probably gets calls all the time from people. I mean, how often can you say you've been so connected to a notorious murder? This happened around dinner time, so maybe people were just inside their homes paying no attention.

I don't get to watch as much of the trial as I'd like to (working about 12 hours a day and having a husband who does like attention occasionally and an adult daughter, lol!), but has anyone else noticed that, at least to my eyes, Jodi seems to be almost rejuvenating every day this trial goes on.

The past couple of days I've actually seen her full-on smiling, sometimes smirking, unusually animated, and not "sickly" looking like she was earlier in the trial.

Has anyone else noticed this and care to opine on what might be causing it? Maybe her ego is inflating with the increased sensationality of the this circus of a trial? Maybe they adjusted whatever medications she might be on?

It just seems that we're at a point where the trial is *somewhat* winding down and, in her defendant shoes, I dunno...I think I'd be increasingly nervous as the end of the trial loomed, because the end of the trial signifies a verdict is imminent. But this batshit girl looks livelier every day as the trial comes closer to its inevitable conclusion.

It's just bizarre to me, all the way around. But then a lot of Jodi's fuckery is bizarre to me on too many levels to count, lol.

Yeah, I know we can't hear much when we're inside our house with the doors closed. Plus in June, the air conditioner would have certainly been running, so even if people were home, it's definitely possible that it went unnoticed...

I have some friends that live on Quade and others who live on Quicksilver which is around the same area. They all work during the day so no luck with any info with them.

Others have mentioned it as well. I think she is confident that there will either be a mistrial or an acquittal.

I just looked at the shockingly grotesque pictures of Travis after Jodi butchered him. I can't imagine a jury seeing those and not wanting to lock her away forever or sentencing her to death. I just can't imagine how they could ever give her anything other than murder one.

Rest in peace Travis. I'm so sorry that your last moments on earth were filled with so much terror and pain. :(

Yes. She is totally fine with it, and always will be. It will never bother her, and she will never feel any remorse. Really.

I lived with a sociopath who attempted to murder someone (and almost succeeded, the victim was shot 5 times and nearly died), and they never, ever, felt a single moment of remorse or regret for what they had done. In fact, they had pretty much forgotten it even happened, that is how unimportant the whole thing was to them. When someone brought the subject up years later, the sociopath had forgotten all about it and when reminded, they were not ashamed or embarrassed or remorseful, they actually thought it was hilarious that they forgot.

Sorry to serial post but just saw this one.

I wondered that same thing, too, how no one heard the shot but I believe a .25 only makes a "pop" rather than a large "boom." My sister's neighbor checked himself out with a deer hunting rifle and even though there was quite a distance between his house and my sister's, that shot literally reverberated in the air for a few seconds and practically shook the ground when it went off. They live in the foothills so no one thought much about the shot, as people in that area are always killing rattlesnakes and other predators...until his wife came home the next day and found him headless.

Anyway, I digress...I also kind of figured since that looks like pretty much a middle-class neighborhood and the shot would have occurred at approximately 5:30 pm (judging by the photo time stamps), perhaps a lot of the neighbors were still at work or making their way home from work, so maybe no one was really home in the immediate proximity at the time to hear the shot.

Does anyone know for sure, has it ever been testified to in court, where the fuck Jodi parked her car that day? I still can't quite figure out if she parked around the corner or was in the driveway. I would assume the roommate Enrique would have noticed her car in the driveway when he left to catch the bus in the morning, so supposition would lean towards her parking elsewhere. I don't know...I find myself wavering on whether Travis knew Jodi was coming to visit or if she just "surprised" him with a visit and didn't expect him to be up and awake watching Daft Punk on his computer at 4 am. Even if the visit were a pleasant "surprise," I don't see why an innocent person would park away from the house. One of the those niggling little details that just bugs the crap out of me for some reason. Well, one of INNUMERABLE little details about this that bugs the crap out of me...

Rifles have long barrels and make significantly less noise than a pistol. I have a .22 pistol and it's nearly as loud as my husband's .40.

Bundy myths on genius aren't all they were cranked up to be. Avg IQ for an organized psycho is in his range. He failed miserably at most acedemics he attempted, couldn't cut the mustered and often changed paths. He had low to avg grades for those he managed to get through. Arias fits in the unorganized slot imo. Low IQ. IQ is only one measuring stick sane people like to slap on things we want to put into slots to better understand. I'd argue that all the ones that get caught IQ doesn't matter, they are obviously not that good.

you're right, Bundy had a college education, I can't remember if he had a degree... and the judge at the end of (one of ) his trials did say "You're a bright young man. You'd have made a good lawyer, and I would have loved to have you practice in front of me, but you went another way, partner."
