Yep, Sneakers is on this one. Wasn't the allegedly "stolen" phone actually found about 2 years later (in 2010?) under the seat of a family member's car? I think in court they said whoever found the phone had given it to Jodi's aunt, because I remember Jodi pointing out her aunt in the gallery.

I think she said there were 6-7 other recorded messages but I figured they were inconsequential since no further mention was made of them. Maybe JM wants to introduce them in light of something Alyce LV may have testified to?

We should totally start a separate thread with a pool for when this trial finally ends. I'm guesstimating around mid June at this point.

Ok, on NG, some woman just said that there is a possibility of recalling a witness; the guy who verified the phone sex tape; but she doesn't know why.

Also, this woman said that there were 7 tapes in all. Seven? Am I the only one who didn't know that? I did come to the trial about the time Jodi took the stand, so I certainly could've missed it.

The fact that there are 7 recordings that Jodi made, makes the whole thing extra creepy. I wonder if Travis knew about any of them? I also wonder why we haven't heard about the contents. I mean, okay it's probably unrealistic and unfair to put the jury through 7 sex tapes, but I'm surprised we haven't heard the contents at least.

I am mortified that my phone was stolen. It had a hugely scandalous text message from him (10 pgs!) that he sent last week. It would make a steamy romance novel sound like a script from a G-rated Disney movie. I also had 1 or 2 recorded conversations that were equally as scandalous. I never did figure out how to play those back for him. Well they're gone now & we won't be making more. Well, actually I wouldn't be on it entirely, one of us will crack & call the other. It's crazy, but what can you do?
Wherever my phone is now, I just hope to text messages & conversations are never discovered. Yikes. It's certainly not Pamela Anderson or Paris Hilton level scandal, there's no video, but it would be embarrassing none the less.

Thanks! I do remember hearing that, I was just confused because it seems like the woman on NG was saying that they may be trying to bring in more calls; which, if the calls were allegedly lost... But then, I saw someone else mention the phone was found, so I suppose there could retrievable conversations. I still don't see the point in the defense trying to introduce them though.

I was leaving and going out to the elevator and her and some blond lady were talking. I couldn't find the court attendant or whatever his name is so I just told them that the next in line could have my place. Disco seemed put off, when I just wanted to be nice. She was dressed nice though. Palin had nice shoes no doubt and really nice legs as a matter of fact. Nice looking woman. I did get shivers from Stabby...she is creepy. Waif like and the eyes are disturbing. She looked our way once....it was surreal.

Makes me really curious, what happened from May 11 'love you too' texts to May 22 that she knows it's over. Something happened in there. Travis signed her off for sure somehow then even before his rant on May 26. Something that had her deliberately hiding that phone, and something that had her saying 'we won't be making more'. Even deluding herself along with Pamala Anderson, as if she already had a plot to be famous for killing and they would come out.
