"Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are" --- Benjamin Franklin
Fuck's sake, Jenn! Going to pee and Travis masturbating to pictures of little boys, or Travis breaking Jodi's finger are NOT in the same category of "every little thing that happens during someone's day."
Sadly, no, it's black with white details.
Okay, I have to this is the bottom line for me with the whole stalking issue. None of us knows whether he truly feared her, or why he kept contact. We do know he had a big blow-up with her, via text and said all of those things about her being a sociopath and the worst thing that ever happened to him. Was he being dramatic? Maybe. Was he just in the moment and angry? Maybe. Did he really mean it? Maybe.
We do know from everyone who knew Travis that the first thing they thought of when they found out he was murdered was "Jodi did it". There has to be a reason for that.
It's because they knew her, they knew Travis, and they knew what their relationship was like. That's something none of us can say.
With regards to what the jury will think? Well, I think they're going to believe that he was scared of her. Why do I think that? Because they're sitting on a jury because Jodi brutally murdered Travis. Is there truly anyone on the jury who is going to think, "Well, she slaughtered him in a violent overkill, but there's no way he could've been scared of her! He must've been joking!"
I personally don't think so.
I think Travis knew Jodi was capable of doing something bad to hurt him. Was he 100% convinced that she could ever follow through with it? Maybe not. Still though, put yourselves in his shoes and ask yourselves if there was ever a person who acted the way Jodi did, to you/me/us, would we have some level of fearing? Even if it was just fear of thinking someone was capable of it, even if they never followed through, or even if we were sure they would ever follow through?
I think that -- unless any of the jury is buying the abuse excuse -- I think they are going to believe that he had some level of fear, because he said he did, and look what she did to him.

Hmmm.... well if one were to wait 2 years after murdering someone to decide to claim self defense, wouldn't it be too late to write in your journal from 2008 that you were being abused?
Willmott is killing me right now![]()
BINGO!
"The person's word is not enough evidence of abuse"
It doesn't get any better said than that!
She has her precious in her lap and she's writing/drawing with her golf pencil
He woke up. LOL
So that's how Casey Anthony is supporting herself these days![]()
Pics or it didnt happen... Or something like that lol. I was watching her, I didnt see her take anything off the table, that doesnt mean she didnt, but I would think there would be pictures popping up everywhere of it just liek the paper she shoved under her leg. unless she is getting better?
Karma is only a bitch if you are!
JW vouching for Stabby's "broken finger", that's a big![]()
Rule 703. Bases of an Expert’s Opinion Testimony
An expert may base an opinion on facts or data in the case that the expert has been made aware of or personally observed. If experts in the particular field would reasonably rely on those kinds of facts or data in forming an opinion on the subject, they need not be admissible for the opinion to be admitted. But if the facts or data would otherwise be inadmissible, the proponent of the opinion may disclose them to the jury only if their probative value in helping the jury evaluate the opinion substantially outweighs their prejudicial effect.
Ummmm...yeah, if she had planned to need to make those things up back then, you BET she would have put it in there. But why make it up BEFORE she needed that to get her off from committing a murder.
Stupidest line of questioning
Alyce now has noooo problems with assumptions of previous testimony or hypotheticals.
Did anyone get a screen shot of the gallery with Faq and Poppycock?
Alyce talking about Travis having a pattern of making sarcastic comments shows him to be an abuser.
Hmmmm, I remember Alyce's pattern of making sarcastic comments to Martinez....
well yeah, because a mentally healthy person would move on when their love interest continues to pursue other women. Mentally healthy people don't continue in relationships that make them feel like toilet paper on the bottom of someones shoe. Sometimes I think he was acting like a cad hoping she would grow tired of him. It's a lot like Charlie and Rose with a lot of butt sex
Willmott you have 45 minutes. Wrap it up!!
Sure you can. Some of Jodi's behaviors were stalking. Others were not.
Travis was at times stalked -- so was I.
Travis at times engaged the woman who had stalked him -- so did I.
Travis had sex with her even when she arrived uninvited -- so did I.
Travis was not afraid that Jodi might physically harm him -- neither was I.
My ex who stalked me for a period of time did not murder me. His did.
It's not black or white. These are fluid relationships, ever changing.

You are so articulate <3
I've been in Travis' shoes, I just happened to live to know how right my feelings were. I can't count the times I said 'if you find me dead', or the times I even made my own jokes about it. Can't put it into words well, but, yes, I feared "I" was right while at times talking myself out of it. Even knowing how dysfunctional 'it' was, "I" was, even deciding to leave it [a few times], I never saw the knife that would be held to my throat really coming, until it was there.
