Travis was a manipulator. Maybe not as good as Jodi, but they both have talent for manipulation.

Her behavior contradicts your statement. Just because Travis felt that his sex life/release was more important momentarily than her stalking, doesn't negate her stalking behavior. He saw her as a crazy stalker, but would put out some ass. She then moved 1000 miles away. Who would have thought a free piece of ass would cost him his life? He'd only have to put up with her craziness for a little while because she was on the move. Regardless, she was still a stalker. And yes, he wanted his free piece of ass.
booty call is one thing but peeking into windows, showing up at parties, spying on him, confronting women he may be interested in, going into his email, entering his home without permission all of these things do make her have stalker like behavior.

I think he felt under pressure to find a nice girl and get married because of his age and that many of his friends were getting married.
