She may have also had a second job at the Purple Plum. She was a waitress for c'sakes and she gives the occupation a bad name. Her co-workers were on to her. A few of them should have been called to testify--especially that one in Palm Desert who told the story of how JA used to finish her afternoon shift, (starting Fall 2006), drive 500 miles to hook up with Travis in Mesa, then drive back in time to start her shift the next day. JA was always getting reprimanded by management, but she just didn't give a crap according to her co-worker in Palm Desert.

The "approaches" to the judge should be like timeouts in sports. You should only have a set # of them each session and the lawyers should have to use them judiciously like a coach in certain circumstances, not freely whenever you think the other side is gaining traction.

I think he should. I think he should show all of them, one at a time, and ask her how many of these pictures she thinks Travis deserved for this 'ABUSE' Jodi supposedly suffered. Isn't that what this what her theory is? Travis deserved to be shot in the head, stabbed 27+ times, and his throat slit from ear to ear, because Jodi was abused? Does Alyce think he deserved that? She's basically saying it's all Travis's fault. That poor Jodi is the true victim. What BULLSHIT!

On top of that I would say that he is starting to paint Jodi in a way that you can look at her and see a killer. The big problem in this case is to see a pretty little girl who did something horrible for who she really is. Manipulator, liar, sex fiend, etc.

Best part is that he's using the defense's own experts to do so!

Court minutes indicate they held hearings on pictures (nude and autopsy) iirc and limited use. Courts have long held that slapping crime photos down all the time would only be to invoke emotions and that not productive to any trial and strong ground for appeals courts.

I totally agree with this, and like you said it would much more appropriate to garner the opinion of a domestic violence 'expert' on what happened to TA! But she would probably squirm out with something lame like, I wasn't retained to give my opinion...blah...blah! But highly effective with the Jury!

Before you can learn to be a Physicist, you have to acknowledge that there's somebody out there who knows more than you do and from whom you can learn something. Then, of course, you have to study and do the work.

No she said she used two gas cans because she always did for long trips in the desert. But that she bought and returned a 3rd gas can (lie).
