That was very interesting, I don't know what I was doing at the time, but I missed it. If there is any lip readers here, her face was visible to be seen. Too bad the jury was out, they would have witnessed the not so innocently poised Jodi.
On the line of behavior, I noticed Jodi far more into reacting to testimony she didn't like and had many more whisper sessions with JW, and several notes passed between them today than I've seen in the past. I think ALV is testifying according to what Jodi told her, but Jodi thinks she said something else and is getting mixed up on some of her lies.
I think it's so strange that Dr. Samuel's didn't say one thing about a manifesto. If all the def. witnesses were going off other reports, you would figure Dr. at least read Alyce's report about the manifesto.AND I assume we can actually call it a manifesto b/c that's exactly what Alyce called it in her report.
One thing I noticed-Jodi and Willmott write a lot to each other. That orange thing could be some kind of a reading machine that has case laws on it.
There is no doubt in my mind that Jodi is helping her defense team. She writes stuff down, shows JW and JW objects. I don't know what Jodi is writing in her papers, but I assume they are legal papers. Probably a notebook of the trial stuff. JA uses the mig spec. to pass messages back and forth to her family. I doubt the court can do anything about that b/c the mig spec is her attorney also.
Last I heard, somebody helped the family get a temporary house there in Mesa so they wouldn't have to stay at motels.
Sheesh-it must have been a manifesto. I don't think the court would have allowed JM to use the word "manifesto" if Alyce didn't use that specific word in her report.
I'm not medical person, but there is definitely something wrong with that girl. I would use the term "bat shit crazy" to describe her. I am now convinced that Jodi killed Travis b/c she wanted to know what it was like to kill somebody. If it wouldn't have been Travis, it would have been somebody else.
This thread is like the super team of crime fighting cyber sleuths (notice I didn't say Web)..Coconut does the excellent vids, Sneaker's is the wealth of knowledge, Berm is the super transcriptionist, Batty and Met are the Med Pros, Justice does the diary entries....we just need...A LIP READER...

Jodi, Jen & Kirk! They know the jury can see them right?
Ho, ho, ho. What's going on is that Jodi and DT don't want testimony of "manifesto" coming in. Surprise, surprise, Juan has a non-redacted(?) copy of ALV's notes. You can see a few lines high-lighted on it but not blacked-out. (Now we know why parts of her diary are highlighted, when we finally get our copy, all that orange is probably going to be blacked out.)
Start watching at the 36 minute mark. Just when Juan goes to mark it as evidence, the judge calls for a 3 min. break, sends jury out, and it's not so ALV can go potty. She goes and sits by Maria, and Jodi goes in her little room, but comes right back out.
Then a blond woman and a guy with a blue and yellow jacket come in & go over to the girl, who sits next to the judge, carrying some papers. There's been a huddle, Nurmi, Wilmott, ALV, and Maria, the mitigation specialist. Then Nurmi, Wilmott, and Juan, go up to the judge. Jodi gets Maria to come over and they chat, Jodi, shaking her head, "no". Then it's like elamir said ^^^^.
Jodi asks Wilmott, "Why?" Then Wilmott turns to Nurmi and shrugs.
And Juan resumes questioning. Might as well watch it 'til the end from there.

Nurmi has been busy studying jurers, Perhaps to detect what? Jodi is also clearly up to something with her gawking at jurors. They are hunting for anything that may cause another juror dismissal. The gawking has become very obvious. Has anyone figured out what she was up to reguarding ALV (while the jury was out).
I have watched many trials over the years and usually they are very scientifically oriented...i.e. lots of crime techs, puter techs etc. And usually dry as hell. This is like no trial I have ever seen!! It really is like a reality show! Not good! Jodi is bat shit crazy Ive decided, no diagnosis would do her justice IMO. Luckily though she still knows right from wrong or we would have an insanity plea!!!
I did say earlier and I still do feel sorry for all those that have gotten sucked into the Jodi Vortex! She is like a hurricane and leaves a path of destruction with all those that come in contact with her! Travis lost his life...how many lives has she ruined in total though??

ImBatman, it may have been me you were referring to about saying that people who go into psychology do so because... etc. What I said was that a lot of people who go into psychology do so because they have their own emotional problems. Not all, but I'd say a lot. I have dealt with a lot of psychologists and psychiatrists, and many of them are pretty wack. Not all though! I still question your dx of psychopathy. If true, you must be way on the end of the spectrum.
I wandered over to JAII land just to see what was up. Seems like we rank a little higher than Websleuths to them. LOL see below:
"So that made me really angered over how some of the masses were treating Jodi ? she?s a whore and he?s a red blooded man! These sickos seem like they actually have crushes on TA, at least the ones on WS. I stopped going there weeks ago and kind of wish I could just get them to ban/delete my account because I don?t want any association with those clowns."

I did not know who posted that...I was just clarifying my stance. I do know many folks in practice that have very dysfunctional backgrounds. A professor of mine called them "wounded healers." You can question all you want love...maybe it would be easier to digest if I said anti-social personality disorder. I think folks tend to think of sociopaths/psychpaths as....welll...Jodi! Good morning all,
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but can someone tell me if the manefesto jodi signed was her journal or something completely different? If different did she write it before she was in jail or after? I haven't been able to watch or read much this week, so I am a little behind. Thanks :)

Hey Bat, zee bee is another colleague of yours. :)
I found 2 pieces of interesting info lurking other websites.
1. The manifesto is actually the diary
2. Another nickname for the witch is "hairya$$"
There's a good chance this chick is the "Aimee"
- connected to the jodiis innocent website via a paypal link (I think)
- the visitor to Jodi in jail, and "manifesto" information

I agree, "manifesto" generally = bat shit cray cray. I doubt she is faking, I just think she thinks THAT much of herself and her views. Also, I think Jodi was familiar enough with the law by that point to be aware that the kind of crazy that has a manifesto is not the kind of crazy that could get her an insanity defense. That ship sailed when she cleaned up the crime scene and then covered up her presence in AZ with lots of lies to everyone around her.
I also completely agree about how annoying people are who make up fake outlandish claims about their pretend accomplishments to try and make themselves look important or worthy. It is childish and transparent, and almost nobody ever falls for it, whether they call the person out on it or not (they just laugh behind their back). And yes, they certainly are exhausting and infuriating, wherever one encounters them.
Wow, that is interesting! I'm surprised Alyce didn't get whiplash, she jerked her head around so fast. I think you called it just right, Elamir. Looked like Jodi was complaining to the MIT specialist about something she was upset about, then MIT girl goes straight to ALV and tells her something, and as she is hearing it, ALV's head suddenly snaps around directly towards where Jodi is sitting in what seems to be a startled gesture of WTF?
And that is the thanks ALV gets for selling out and throwing her support behind a sociopath murderer. Wonder if it made ALV rethink the wisdom of her choices?
Manifesto is SUCH a totally loaded word, with such a negative connotation. ALV had to have used it in her report for the court to allow Juan to use it. And the fact that ALV used that term would seem to me to indicate Jodi used that term as well, because it would be very odd for ALV to choose a negative and loaded term to put in a report and describe Jodi's writings unless Jodi is the one who told her that was what they were.
I saw an interesting show about a respected researcher who was doing research on sociopathy. Believing there were visible differences in the brains of sociopaths, he was taking brain scans of all the sociopaths he interviewed, and took one of himself and his staff to use as the 'control'. To his shock, he himself had a sociopathic brain. He credits a great childhood with supportive parents as the reason he does not function as a sociopath, but when he asked his family members and friends, they all said they had seen the signs of sociopathy in him, but since he was loving and did not seem dangerous, they did not say anything.
Were you crying when you were stabbing him? --SuperJuan Martinez
Nobody believes a word out of your mouth. Why do you keep talking? -- ABC Interviewer to JA
The defense is NOT giving its experts all information. They, like JA or because of JA's influence, are about winning at any cost. The defense attorneys used 6 or 7 expert witnesses before Alyce and Samuels, no doubt they used what they learned to pinpoint the particular expert(s) that would support trial strategy. Trials are a 3 act play suitable for stage!
JA selected the term "manifesto" and this like other things (slipping up on highway 93 vs 95) serves to announce her murderous intentions.
Bat shit crazy is the perfect clinical term to describe Jodi! I must respectfully disagree that she wanted to kill "someone". Her target was Travis. I do wonder why she didnt mess with Marie (Mimi).I'm not medical person, but there is definitely something wrong with that girl. I would use the term "bat shit crazy" to describe her. I am now convinced that Jodi killed Travis b/c she wanted to know what it was like to kill somebody. If it wouldn't have been Travis, it would have been somebody else.
Yeah, I gotta agree...I would have interviewed everyone including Napoleon. I am leaning towards sociopath/psychopath with narcissistic traits. Her childhood and adolescence have enough information to see Oppositional Defiant, then conduct disorder. It sounds like she rarely went to school as a teenager.
Alyce and Samuels are the type of clinicians who would be vulnerable to a psychopath. Having worked in a psychiatric er, I tend to be suspicious and look for malingering because it happens often.
There is a quality about Jodi that reminds me of the patients who were recently released from prison. Former prisoners study the helpers and know you better than you know yourself. Sociopaths read others and use that information for their own gain. If the diagnosis is correct, Jodi would have read Travis, knew his weaknesses and selected him as a target. Seems to me she didn't take long to set him up and he soon found himself in a compromised position.
Yep, she got what she needed from him. Then he stopped giving.
Im guessing the defense team is picking off jurors who will convict Jodi. And who best to read the jurors than a sociopath?
Further up the page you will see a message from Chaitanya Lay. Isn't that who Alyce was talking about IM'ing Travis?
Message goes: "Love you girl"
Chaitanya still has Jodi as a Myspace friend. I don't have an account, maybe you can see more.

Im just gonna throw this out there.... ODD and CD shouldnt really mean much of anything. If you saw traits from when she was young. That would have no merit in her situation now. JMO
