Other things to consider re: Juror #5:
She may have been awful to deal with and disliked by most members of the jury panel.
She may have been sooo mad at whoever ratted her out that she returned to court just to stare down the snitches.
Word is she will no longer attend proceedings.

Joking wouldn't be a problem. Evidently this juror still won't accept responsiblity for her behavior so her little media 15 mins are suspect. Her problem if even part of her excuse is true, is it was joking about the trial! That is against the admonition not to say anything or discuss the trial. She could have joked about cows flying, but she used part of the trial. Made no sense besides. Samuels doesn't buy the court equipment.
However, I suspect with this Kook when the real truth comes out there will be more to the story.

I believe this is day 42?!The prosecutor closed on day 9 or 10. What day are we up to now? The defense strategy is failing, the jury now wants to hang the entire defense team.
I heard that the jury was told the trial would last until April 11th. With the way things are going it doesn't look like thats gonna happen. I wonder when Judge Stephens will tell them its going to be at least next week?
I'm sure the jury is going to start having plans that they can't get out of and it will delay things even more!
Ya know I keep wondering how the hell she got out of there with blood all down the hallway. I wonder if after she rinsed off in the shower she went into the closet, changed there and exited from the other door.
She kept the best notes--so the defense wanted her off. The judge should have admonished her and moved on, but this judge is too afraid of reversible error and gave into defense, which was why the defense was smiling when they came out of chambers that day.

God, I hope so! Her childish and selfish behavior was taking attention away from the seriousness of this trial and the whole judicial process. Just the way she's conducted herself after getting booted from the jury makes me certain that she was unprofessional in her conduct while she was part of it, as well. I don't think the joke about the chairs was the only reason....I'm guessing that is was just one joke of many, and her peers foresaw a real problem if she was part of deliberations.
