No way would felony murder rely on trespassing assumption and there are no witnesses or evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. In the unedited interrogation tapes, Flores talked quite a bit about how organized Travis was with money.
We haven't heard anything in court about the rent money or the engagement ring he had bought for Deanna and still had. Maybe it'll come up in rebuttal.
Burglary is different from trespassing, WT explained that. However, it could be that Travis thought she was gone when he got in the shower. We just don't know, but once she attacked him he was no longer a welcome guest, that is JM's stand. She stole a gun, either from Travis or her grandfather. In some states, like New York, the use of a gun alone brings higher charges. In Arizona, they don't even register guns, we have to trust JM knows AZ law.

Now on HLN: They're playing unedited interviews of Mama and Papa Arias. The Dad says Jodi used credit cards to make $3000 house payments in Palm Desert (living w/ D. Brewer) Also that she bought the 9mm gun and was going on the run before she was arrested... The Dad intimates that "something happened" in Palm Desert that was a "turning point" (in a bad way) for Jodi...

Gee, I have it on, but kept the volume down, didn't realize it was new material from DAD.

I didn't realise she attempted a clean-up. So she did it in in a rush hence not cleaning everything? Or she realised it would look like it was planned?

I didn't hear it because of turned down volume. Those statements sound a little off, perhaps he was repeating things Jodi told him? We never heard she made house payments nor something happening at Darryl's except she left for Travis.

Dad alternates between "she never told us anything" to giving fairly detailed accounts of what Jodi was doing at various times... His daughter buys a gun and says she's leaving town.. and he takes her to the rental car agency... strange.

He also says HE had a .25 Auto handgun that was stolen from his car in Salinas (years back) It was used in a robbery and he says he never picked it up when the police said he could have it back... the Arias's seem to like .25 auto's

It's such a contrast to see what straightforward honesty from her Dad looks like in that interrogation room compared to what Jodi did in that same room. His words are damning -- She treated my wife like crap, She never tells us anything about anything, Have you ever thought of yourself as bipolar?, She kept calling and calling and calling and finally I had to just say I was kidding.

I think she was concerned about getting caught. I believe the plan was to keep Travis in the shower. And I'm certain she hadn't planned on Travis getting into the shower so late in the day. She didn't think he'd be able to fight back so much after stabbing him in the chest.

I'm not sure that Jodi's plan was even to clean everything up. I think she was trying to do just enough so that she would damage any potential results of her DNA being there. It almost worked, but she missed one key area, thank goodness. Her palm print with her blood and Travis's blood mixed together.

So how many more days do we think AL will be on the stand. JM has a lot of material to rebut with her.

If Jodi told the truth the first day on the stand, then the older half-sibling is a female from her father. Brother Carl is 2 years younger that Jodi. Joey and Angela are 11 and 13 years younger. I don't remember which is which.

He doesn't get to choose where he sits. They line up outside the courtroom and the bailiff seats them from front to back or back to front, so they won't know which ahead of time. Most likely he'll wind up on Jodi's side, as the other fills up with Travis' family and the media.
Also faq_q might not get in for afternoon if he gets in for morning, they have to get in line again. Bring lunch!

Maybe he's there to testify on the rest of the e-mail LaViolette was talking about. They need a person to bring that text in.

Yes, but it at least will be interesting. Then we'll have the drone of JW trying to clean up what JM destroyed.

DT can't fix anything it was already destroyed. I have faith in the jurors. They could spot a load of B.S. even if it's served up on an accredited plate. I'm sure AL will her her helplessly devoted groupies but I think her stock will be greatly

If the jury were to watch those videos of her parents interviews they would be 90% on the way to convicting her.

    Truly damning. Obvious truths.

If Jodi were to tell me it's raining I'd walk outside to feel the raindrops on my face before believing her.

Everything that comes out of her mouth is a lie unless proven otherwise. Everything.

True, but she needs to think she can fix it. She must do her job, even though I'm sure she knows she's beating a dead horse.

The blood splatter expert said the blood on the walls was wiped that's why there was no splatter. Also, the blood on the front of the sink had been wiped, it could have been unintentional. The palm print with the mixed blood was clear though. ("Wiped" to her meant moved, so there wouldn't be droplets, not cleaned.)

She got out of there without leaving bloody footprints on the rug she had to walk over to get out of the bathroom. She showered down his body. So, yes she made an attempt to clean up evidence.

I figured she must have cleaned herself and Travis but didn't realise she tried to clean walls etc, purely because there was so much blood still left.

There was also a lot of water on the floor that ruined the outlines of the blood for the expert to analyze. The hallway floor has blood on the sides, but almost none down the middle. There was nothing she could do about the big blood stain on the rug, some say that's why she gave up cleaning. Yeck! Who wants to get inside Jodi's head?

Is there a link to all of the journal entries? The ones I've seen have only been a few pages long. And TA had a journal too? Where can I read his entries?

I don't want to but want to, if that makes sense. I guess the saying "there is a thin line between love and hate" seems quite true in this case. She loved him so completely that she destroyed him.

Sure it did! Her overinflated self-image got a big kick in the butt when she and Darrell fell victim to the collapse of the housing bubble. At that time, and even afterwards, she was describing her career goals to be a "Real Estate Investor" and "Artist/Photographer." She lost all of her savings, ($10-12,000), and ruined her credit. It was a matter of time until she would be homeless and totally broke. At that point, she was faced with the undeniable fact that she was broke, unskilled and not very special. That's a pretty bitter blow. She was glib enough to maintain an illusion that she was special and Travis fell for it--for a while. The experience of Palm Desert did indeed make Jodi Arias change--for the worse. Money and status was far more important to Jodi than has come out so far. She referred to the fact that she wished she had more money in her interview with Flores--at one point saying "this wouldn't have happened if I had more money." I don't know what she meant by "this."

To be very clear, I have nothing but respect and sympathy for the thousands of good people that got burned when the housing bubble collapsed.

And there was a clear plastic cup in the shower that "didn't fit", and file boxes nearby were bottom stained red and soaked wet giving the impression a lot of water had been splashed around presumably to clean the blood.

I'll tell a story here: A girlfriend's father was dying in hospice here and we visited regularly. He passed when I alone was in the room with him and the family was out eating/running errands. I informed the nurse & she left the room. For whatever reason I did not feel it would be "right" for me to leave him alone in that room, so I stayed. After about 30-45 minutes his body let out an audibly loud sound as it released air/relaxed or something of the sort. Scared the everloving shat out of me, but was later informed that's normal.

I think Jodi killed Travis with the knife. She thought he was dead on the floor or in the shower as she was beginning to clean up & stage the crime scene. At some point Travis was either still alive or his body let out that expired sound I heard in hospice. Jodi was frightened & grabbed the gun & shot him in the head. She did not realize how freaking loud a gun is in an enclosed space, got scared others may have heard it, and bolted from the scene leaving it a mess and leaving incriminating evidence behind.

One this about the shell casing. Those things are ejected with velocity and can bounce all over the place in a room hitting ceiling, walls, etc. But note that the blood it was on top of had to have coagulated for some period of time -- otherwise it would have sunk down into it. Which supports the idea of the delayed shot, along with no bleedout from the wound.
