How do you know that the photos weren't done under duress (i.e. gunpoint)?

I'm not sure anybody knows the right answer other than Jodi. All I can say is that there were nude pictures of Travis. And there were nude pictures of Jodi. There were pictures of Jodi's hoo-ha spread open. Seriously, somebody took that picture other than Jodi. I'm sorry, but there are a few very nasty pictures of Jodi in various poses. No way was she taking those pictures herself. I guess it's possible she had the timer on......but if you put it together- there were nude pictures taken of Travis on the bed, with the KY jelly. Then a few minutes later, there were pictures of Jodi spread eagle. So, I would ASSume they were taking naked pictures of each other.

However Jodi got in the house, you have to ASSume b/c of the pictures that she was welcomed when she showed up. There are some that believe Travis looks scared during the shower photos. Maybe? I think they were role playing a sex game. Then I think she took him by surprise. Just my opinion.

The behaviors allowed in the spectator seats confuse me. The very few times I was in a gallery watching a trial, there were rules in place. No distractive behaviors, no food, no drink, no laughter. I am curious to see the jurors thoughts on those things after trial, if they even discuss anything.

I think the court room is HUGE. Maybe b/c of that, the judge doesn't see what we do. IDK, just a guess???

Having finished listening to David Lohr's video 11 of the interrogation, at 30:00 Jodi says she uploaded a 45 minute video of Travis 'two nights ago', putting that at July 14, 08. She says it is called Travis Alexander (space dash space) System's Training. She gave him that tidbit to let the family know so they could see it. I did not find it, has anyone else found it? Since she was arrested, she would have had to had someone else delete it. She does have one posted as user jodiannarias, but not 45 minutes nor is it system's training.

these interrogation videos are long and tough to watch, I can only hear them on my phone. in this one (11), she repeatedly begs to see the crime scene photos. there are nuggets interspersed throughout the interrogation, I wish I had been writing them down.

RE: ALV's book unavailable on Amazon, perhaps she took it down to make it look like she has been selling them like hotcakes and to get people to pre-order the latest version coming out this month. She is now up to 400 reviews, 99.9% panning the book.

after the initial threat of danger is under control she has to stop the attack for excessive force turns self defence into murder.If she stuck with the ME's version of events the gunshot would be concidered excessive cruel and heinious punishment.She failed to stop the attack ,she claims he was still fighting but is in a "fog" about it.The one thing that I can't understand about the "fog" is that once you stick with that story how do you know you were defending yourself? There is a high probability in that under her "fog" she committed murder and if she can't remember that is what I feel sealed her fate.She can't claim self defence and then not remember her defending herself....Like Juan say's " Is doesn't work like that "......

Initially I thought I understood why Stabby concocted her story about shooting before stabbing. I thought she did so to avoid the murder being "cruel and heinous" by inferring the shot made it unlikely that he felt the pain of stabbing. Yet she testified that he threatened to kill her after she shot him ("fucking kill you bitch"). She claims to have stabbed him after he is shot due to his threat to kill her. I just don't understand the rationale. She claims TA threatened to kill herafter he was shot, but according to her, TA was on floor. She could have escaped then. I am solely trying to figure out the motive for her saying she shot 1st. Could be as simple as she didn't want to have to explain the stabbing/slit throat (foggy). Does anybody have a theory as to why she is so strongly sticking to this story that leaves room for jury to discount self-defense? If he is on floor shot in the head when he threatened her, at that point she loses the self-defense argument. I am not giving any credence to her story, I am curious about the legal issues that motivated her version of events. It may be that she is just a moron.

But in the ME's testimony which I concur with the most probable order of injuries were stabs, throat slit, then gunshot. In supporting this most probable of theories, what was the estimated location of where his throat was cut? Reason why I'm asking is I was thinking about an arterial bleed, (I snagged my wrist on a hurricane fence when I was a kid and severed an artery and it sprayed sorta kinda) so my thinking would be that an arterial bleed of TA's magnitude would have done a bit of spraying as well unless his blood pressure/volume had become low at that time. So there would have been an area where there was some type of spray pattern or very large puddle. I would love to hear Dr. Henry Lee's theory on this crime scene. I hate to sound morbid but I have always found crime scene reconstructions/blood spatter patterns /ballistics absolutely fascinating. Someone please refresh the kid on the the kid on the short bus...

I noticed Lava stated as fact that TA kicked JA and broke her finger. What is her proof of that? Yeah I know, the empirical word of Jodi.....but since when is she a medical doctor? Get her Juan.

As a nurse, that especially ticked me off, her testifying (as though she were in any way a medical person), that indeed she noticed a "healed" broken finger on JA. I wish to God JM would put up more pics of her holding up that hand with her fingers completely straight, as she did while testifying; not resting them up against anything or anyone, but with her hand held up just below her eye level, fingers parallel to the ground and ALL fingers straight as an arrow. She naturally has bony, gnarly, claw like fingers with large knuckles. VERY easy for her to feign a "break" at the second natural joint simply by bending her finger. No broken finger heals like that, regardless. I cannot believe the chutzpah that woman has, thinking she can fool people into believe that nonsense. Oh wait, she is!

I hope she gets the death penalty, primarily because her contact with other people will be almost nil, which will truly be the worst possible punishment for her. If she gets life, won't she be in general population where she can be adored by other inmates?

It is not allowed, because it has nothing to do with the case. So the defense would say "Objection - Irrelevant" and the judge would sustain the objection.

I think the defense putting this woman on the stand is a mistake. She has basically all but said all men are abusers & all woman are abused. Do they really think a jury made up of mostly men are going to like this woman & take anything she says seriously?

I doubt men will be impressed that she paints most men as abusers. The DT probably should have considered that. On the other hand, all they need is one juror to buy her crap and hang the jury and using ALV will have been a total success for them. Or one juror to think poor JA is so "abused" that she does not deserve death. That would also be a success for the DT.

I really believe this is the reason he was killed. She was NOT going to be the one who was left. If a relationship ended with her doing the leaving, fine, but nobody was EVER going to leave her, period.

Despite Alyce and the defense team's efforts to say otherwise I think that's really what she was saying in her journals as well.

His throat was cut at the entrance of the bedroom from the hallway leading to/from the master bath. He was probably face down or laying on his side when she cut his throat. During the prosecutions case in chief they showed the piece of carpet that was saturated in blood.

I don't think JM could get away with that. It would probably ruled as 'argumentative"

Specially the one where he has his hand up like he motioning her to come back to bed. Maybe that's just my interpretation. Is anyone else seeing this are am I just nuttier than my husband says I am?

I don't know if that is permissable, but even if it were, JM would probably stick to the case at hand. I have no personal knowledge of whether or not it is acceptable or if JM even knows about her kids.

The puddle was at the end of the hall where the tile met the carpet. The carpet was soaked, LE cut it out and it is an exhibit.

Going to sound stupid here, but I can't understand a word she's "singing," after "I'm wishing, "I'm wishing...." She has on the same jacket she wore to court. Was this taped since her testimony that day? And who on earth is she singing to? (I think I recognize the laugher.)

I have wondered if the spread eagle shots on his camera were wanted by him to keep her from playing the sex tape she was taunting him with. They are not really sexy, they look more like out of a gynecology text book.(she mentions in an interview she could not figure out how to play the sex recording so he never heard it. if that were true, how would she even know it was a 'take')

I think she was force feeding herself on him.She did things to prolong the cut off.(car payments,planning trips) he was pulling back and she was planning,She was easy and Travis didn't have to work at it.Was he a sex addict? nah he was fine with making a phone call and knew he was gonna get it and when he did she thought she had pennies in his bank.There were alot of assumptions on both their parts and when the words weren't spoken to make themselves on the same page she was zigging while he was zagging and things went kooky

They were still engaging though...even after the move. He still allowed her into his life, into his home.

I think you have asked some good questions, it's just hard to read through some of the crap to get to the gems. I too have posted questions that weren't answered but I just chalk it up to the speed of the thread. Unless I am an annoying poster? Hopefully not. Anyways, back to the trial. I'm attending tomorrow and will try to post what I can after I get home about what the courtroom size and the layout are. I am very interested to see how loud JM is in person, I don't believe he is that loud by the way. I think they turn up the mics so the jury can hear the testimony. I believe there was one Jurer that complained about not hearing well??

Just with all the convo about ignoring, people saying things on other threads and all lately, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't in that catagory. 1 don't want to hang out someplace unwanted, 2 as I said don't want to waste my time asking questions that will go unanswered. Topic at hand, I agree 100 % nobody was going to leave Jodi and if she was going to make sure no other woman was worthy of what she couldnt have! To me she's like a spoiled little child in every aspect, the way she treats people, the way she talks to people and the way she behaves when she doesn't get her own way, only she was an adult & her actions were far beyond a childish fit. To me it comes down to she's very self centered & they're trying to make her come off as with low self esteem, but I think she really had a higher image of who she really was and expected people to cater to "princess Jodi".

I can confirm some of that. Her son lives in N Cal. (as does Alyce's ex-husband) the daughter is a Graduate research scientist in Arizona. Alyce appears to share a house with another Family Therapist they may share office space as well... not sure about the grand-kids... in Long Beach Cal. I have this all from Public Records.

I am so curious about the jurors and their expressions. I read somewhere that they are not looking at Stabby. From TV that courtroom looks huge. Hope you get in to observe firsthand. Lots of luck, and enjoy. Look forward to your post once you digest and put it in writing.
