Nurmi wants the jury sequestered. He has a problem with all the information released.
JM says he doesn't watch tv as much as Nurmi does.
Nurmi thinks the jury is seeing the media. JM isn't sure where Nurmi gets the legal authority without backing it up.

Judge denies Nurmi's request.
Mistrial motion- witness. Nurmi wants the judge to review over the noon hour. (The judge sounds annoyed with Nurmi this morning)
Alice is up. Palin is still up for defense.
March 22, 2008- EX 440- Text messages- Travis invites Jodi over and tells her to make herself at home. Travis told Regan and Lisa there was a stalker.

Approach judge after JM objects to stalker

Alice said she never seen any evidence of Jodi being a stalker to Travis.
Late March 2008- Lots of text messages. Travis wants Jodi to empty her VM b/c it's full. It sounded like an order to Alice (state objects)

Alice read a conversation with Travis and Creshella (SP?) It was a sexual. She was a married woman.

EX 594- Diary entry from Travis' journal- Mar 27, 2008- Travis talks about Jodi moving. Travis thinks it will be good for both of them.

March 30, 2008- Jodi and Travis argured in text messages. Jodi didn't respond b/c she was asleep- Objection from JM and Palin wants an approach.
(this was the uhaul truck day when Travis flipped her off as she was leaving) She hung up on Travis and didn't like Travis cussing at her.

Apr 1, 2008- text- Travis sends a text to Jodi about how much he is going to miss her. (Jodi also said that the 1st week in April, Travis choked her into unconsciousness-I wonder how when she left on March 30th)(I'm so confused now)
4th violent abuse event- Travis was mad about Jodi being involved with 2 other men. Alice said choking is bad.

April 7, 2008- EX 444- Travis wants to know where Jodi is at. Jodi is in Hollister. A few hour later- long text message from Travis- The do not call me and don't text me-text. Jodi told Alice that Travis wanted the idenity of a woman who told Jodi about Lisa Andrews.

Alice read Lisa's interviews. July 07-Mar 08 is when Alice says Lisa and Travis dated (Lisa said on the stand July 07- Feb 08)
April 8, 2008-EX 445- Text- The drawing Jodi left behind. Travis says" it's always drama with you." Travis tells Jodi not to call back. He tells her bitter feeling are brewing in him for her.
Jodi tells him to have a good day. Travis tells her she is rude. Travis talks about how he is trying to save his house.

Alice read stuff that Matt M said Jodi was a crier. Travis said Jodi was a crier.

Apr 8, 2008- Travis' dairy- Travis talks about wanting to find someone to marry and how it will be easier since Jodi and Deanne are gone. Travis is stretched for money. Travis misses Lisa and feels like a fool for going after MiMi-and he feels like an idiot.

Apr 19, 2008- Text messages- Travis is offended b/c Jodi insulted him about his speaking ability. Jodi is back in Yreka at this time.

Approach Judge after Palin keeps bringing up Lisa.
Apr 20, 2008- Travis sends Jodi a nice text message. The prettiest girl at the club text.

May 9, 2008- Text- The Steve Conners text. The fake text (LOL)
Now Alice is talking about Iceburgs. Travis is pissed off.

May 10, 2008-EX 595- IM- Jodi and Travis talk about Wayne Dier. They talk about Travis' temper.
Palin asks for an approach after state objects. Travis talks about how is temper is worse than Dier's temper. State objects.

Approach Judge
Palin is now reading the whole IM message. Travis admits he has a temper. Jodi also talks about her self esteem. Jodi feels bad on the inside. Something about an innocent porn star feeling bad about herself. Travis compares Jodi with other women he's been with. Jodi was the best in bed, though. Alice says Travis had sex with other women before Jodi.

May 22, 2008- EX 591- Jodi's diary entry- Jodi talks about the laws of chasity. State objects

Jodi thinks it would help if Jodi and Travis shouldn't be physical with each other anymore. Travis gets upset. Travis thought she was seeing somebody else. He though she was getting her kicks somewhere else. (this is also when Jodi changed all her passwords) Jodi talks about how Travis always mentions his undying love for MiMi and Jodi thinks that is alright. She is okay with it. Travis is upset b/c things are not going well with MiMi.

Just now before recess, she watched them file out and then again, looked back at Donovan, slight nod or acknowledgement and tried to cover a smile.

I really think the baliff or the judge should be more aware of these exchanges. Donovan oozes criminal, and imo IT shouldn't be allowed in the courtroom in such close proximity to IT's co-'whore'-t.
