Don't they understand that I have things to DO today??!!
It's another az thing
We found the defendants guilty of attempted murder of 4 cops and a buttload of other charges. The one skeptical juror eventually came around. I think people ratted him out originally because it was obvious the dudes were guilty so we were all shocked by his statement. The trial was 3 months long and it gets really weird and personal in the juror room. Emotions run high. As far as the jury misconduct process, the judge first calls in the questioned juror to get their side and then everybody else individually to see how or if they were affected. The attorneys from both sides were there too. So not sure why any family members would be back there if this indeed is a jury misconduct issue.

If it came down to it and a plea is what is happening...I think I might be ok with it!

Deportation to Antarctica hearing?
@Fairuza
YES! Plea deal and Jodi take back all of the made up crap!
Unfortunatly I really believe JA thinks there is no chance of the death penelty and I agree. I just don't see that happening. She'll try for 2nd degree murder.
Thank you. What an experience for you! I had a friend who was forewoman on a jury years ago, a murder trial. She was reluctant to speak about it but recounted much of what you have said regarding the emotionally charged aspects of the deliberations. Ugh, if ths trial ends in a mistrial I'll pull my hair out. I have a feeling that this judge, who has since day 1 proceeded with great caution, as well this being her 1st DP case, might rather call a "do over" rather than risk being overturned. I don't see JM agreeing to 2nd degree (what JA was at first willing to plea to), nor JA accepting 1st degree/LWOP. Then again, the cost to the taxpayers already tops 1 million. *stomach churns*
You just know this is taking so long because Nurmi is back there talking on and on and on, slower than molasses, milking his $225 per hour. ugh.
