putting a camera in the wash with soap and bleach, to destroy the evidence, is quite rational indeed.
    Fuckholes.
The whole camera thing doesn't make sense anyway. She didn't know the picture of her dragging Travis was even there. If she did, she would have taken the camera or at least the memory card. I believe it got accidentally scooped up and in the washer. Why did she testify about deleting some pics, yet later testified she knew deleting didn't mean anything because as a camera buff, she knew pics could be retrieved with sophisticated equipment. So, she listened to the camera specialist and learned it then.

ME testified that several of the stab wounds were stopped by hitting bone.

Adrenaline IS 'flight or fight.' I know I have heard the defense use this as part of her self defense.

You know when you get scared and your heart starts pounding? Sometimes you may even feel short of breath or dizzy. This is adrenaline.

A good example of showing no adrenaline rush is in one of the Hannibal Lecter movies. I think it's the one with Julianne (is that her name) Moore. It shows a flash back of Lecter eating the face off a nurse. He had a heart monitor on. The person telling the story said his BP and HR didn't rise. Something like 'his heart rate never got above 80.' But that was in a movie. I'm sure it can happen where someone is so completely insane they wouldn't get an adrenaline rush. The probability of THAT happening is miniscule.
    Interesting.
When I was checking up on adrenalin this morning, most of the references I found always had Fight or Flight beside it. Fight and Flight was used a lot in court yesterday.

I really didn't think bad of the dr at all-until about half way yesterday. The red flag went off, and his whole wishy washy way with words bothered me. I admit, I don't know enough about mental health stuff to form an opinion on the BS level of the dr.....but my BS meter went off.

Hmmm.....SEE! It doesn't take a medical professional to understand what adrenaline and the 'flight or fight' definition is. I hope the jury sees through this doc.

If she is found guilty, I'm sure part of her appeal will be this docs incompetence. I didn't watch the trial yesterday. I did catch a few minutes of HLN, but I can't remember what I watched. My head is scrambled and in a fog. Maybe if someone uses a trigger word, I will remember.

I'm also not knowledgeable in mental health. However, I also have a BS meter. lol

I believe you are right!! And I'll bet they are also excited to know that they are on nationwide TV, every day!! She keeps a little notebook with her....probably already working on the manuscript for her book "SANDY......a moving look into the life and heart of the mother of a condemned murderer....and the wooden spoons that started it all."

Does it really matter that much if the gun came first or not? He had defensive wounds and was no longer a threat with all the stabs to his back. I'm probably missing something really obvious and will probably feel really stupid for asking the question.

I actually think the camera in the wash was an accident. I think that she meant to take it with her along with the gun and knife and dispose of it. I think in her half assed clean up "frenzy" it got mixed up in the towels and whatever else she threw into the washing machine without realizing it.
I think she brought her own knife as well. For a couple of reasons:
    1. If she used a kitchen knife and put in the dishwasher
    a. if she ran the dishwasher, in 5 days the roommates never emptied it?
    b. if she didn't run it, the roommates loading it didn't notice an obscenely bloody kitchen knife? The utensil tray is on the door of that particular dishwasher. I think you would notice something like that.

    JMO of course.

It is my impression that real MPD is very, very rare. Dr. Dicky initially thinking it might be MPD seems quite bizarre. I think it also tends to indicate that Dr Dicky is mainly trying to come up with a diagnosis that will help to excuse whatever the defendant has done, rather than actually trying to find a true diagnosis of whatever mental disorder the defendant might have.

Dr Dicky might actually have been somewhat believable IF he had just testified as to whatever mental disorder he was diagnosing Stabby with. However, since he felt compelled to try and defend every aspect of Stabby's story he could, he lost all credibilty. IMO. It made him seem totally biased and exposed him for the paid hack he is.

I have a small question, I wonder why Juan didn't bring up a part in the interview of her story about the ninja's where Travis says please stop and that he can't feel his legs anymore. I have to look back but wasn't that portion of the interview played? I believe Jodi sprinkles in some truths with her lies so Juan could have asked her about that? Wouldn't that be while she is repeatedly stabbing him proving no fog? Maybe Dr Fog could answer that now or dismiss it as part of one of her lies.

I don't get why it's not considered very premeditated to Dr boss hog because the crime scene was unorganized. It seemed pretty unorganized for someone who wasn't a professional killer or 'cleaner'. She did her best to show she was NOT there and tried to dispose of evidence of such. The murder got out of control an she had to get out of there. It seemed organized because of the steps she took to not show she was there! Just because the scene was a mess and not immaculate doesnt make it unpremeditated. The murderer's actions before and after demonstrate a conscientious effort to evade detection of her presence in Arizona.
Also, I don't believe she went over the dam route. It's waaaay out of the way and she could get up to SLC straight through flagstaff and into Utah that way... But she must have if her cell pinged near Kingman... Someone mentioned the evidence is probably in lake mead; I think that's correct because why go so far off track to go into Utah that direction as opposed to an easier route through flagstaff up the 89...

Watch her interrogation tape, the first one...right after Flores lays out all the evidence he has (her blood at the scene, the time-stamped photos etc.) and tells her she is going to be charged with murder. Most people at this point would panic, maybe ask for a lawyer...but Jodi hardly misses a beat before her mutant brain starts spitting out all the reasons why it WASN'T HER:

-"I bathed Napolean all the time and used a glass to rinse him off and dropped it and cut my hand picking up the pieces"
-"The photos were old, the memory card must have been from one of my old cameras, I had several memory cards at Travis's house, he must have picked one up and put it in his camera"
-"Are you sure that's me? Photos can be tampered with you know"
-"Did you check the traffic surveillance photos? That will show I was not in Mesa" (apparently thinking the cameras record all traffic, also shows she did something w/the plate to hide that she was in Mesa.)

and on and on and on...it really is amazing to watch her in action...
I love this post. Just that list, remembering the the interrogation, showed how her mind is spinning spewing out things she imagines will "throw them off" her trail, actually believing, I think, that she could easily out smart them or charm the detective with her "perfect irresistible" Jodi-ness... She is so delusional about her abilities and cleverness. PUKE It's SOOO cringeworthy to watch. And yet she CONTINUES! Like you said, a Compulsion, she can't stop. She will get away with it in her own mind. Its fascinating & sick to watch like a car accident.

I am thinking that Doc Dick would say that was Jodi's attempt to create an alternate reality.....and that is why she came up with those lies. And more lies. And more lies. The whole thing about Travis saying he can't feel his legs, is just drama that I believe Jodi added in, trying to make her story believable to the Detective. The ME stated that Travis's spinal cord was not damaged in the attack, so he would have not lost the use or feelings in his legs. That is also evident by the fact that he was able to stumble or crawl all the way to his bedroom, where she inflicted the major wound to his throat. By then, he was likely dead.

The pointed out last night on that After Dark program that the pillows on the lounge chair in his bedroom had tassles on them that look far more like the crime scene photo than of a rope. And if he cut the rope in the bathroom, where is the fibers from the rope that was cut?

That is an excellent point, and was probably the "grain of truth" in that statement (my theory is that there is usually a tiny grain of truth mixed in with most of Stabby's lies). If Dr Dicky was asked about it, he would say that was all just a lie she made up and we should disregard it, because he tries to get the jury to disregard everything that might look negative for Stabby.

Dr Dicky wanted to offer as evidence a study, done in Finland, that he said showed that "messy crime scene = crime of passion", and "tidy crime scene = premeditated". SuperJuan objected, and the judge agreed with him. So the "study" was not presented, but Dr Dicky is doing his best to get the information into the minds of the jury in any other way he can. That is why he keeps trying to slip it into his answers.

Good point, I was just thinking that when stabby got in about 15 stab wounds, the blood loss I would think would cause you to lose feeling in your extremities eventually.

Hi, First time poster here and a Jodi supporter. I have to tell you all that I normally lean toward the prosecution in just about any trial for the simple fact that they have the burden of proof. That has changed dramatically as Jodi’s trial has gone along. I absolutely despise Juan Martinez. Also HLN and their anchors, VP, NG, JVM should be ashamed of themselves for pouring fuel all over the Jodi haters. I stopped watching HLN 3 days after I began following this trial. They had me incensed. I watch the trial online thru this site or other Phoenix tv stations. It’s sad how so many people allow others to tell them what to think instead of forming their own opinions and conclusions. Thanks for reading. I follow this site daily and have learned everything I know about Jodi and this case from it. Hang in there Jodi.

So you think Stabby is innocent/should go free because you dislike the prosecutor and the media coverage? You learned everything about this case from JAII? Oh Vey!

The biggest problem here is the grandparents stolen gun. Jodi has been proven to have lied so much, the jury will automatically assume she stole the gun and used it in this crime.

The defense absolutely has to do more with this issue, but they can’t.The gun has to be recovered and proven not to have been used for Jodi to get a self defense verdict.

Listening to the accusatory and generally disbelieving nature of the jury questions,I feel self defense will be ruled out by the jury.

Not going to happen Steve-O, Stabby can't produce the gun because that's a one way ticket to death row. Glad to see you are starting to get that self-defense is a no go. Might be hope for you yet!

I’m happy there is a day off for Nurmi. He looked sick to me all week. His eyes were puffy and he just acted off. He didn’t sit by Jodi at all. But I did see his face turn beat red and he more or less throw his pad at the table at one point. Did anyone notice that towards the end of the day he started to stand between JM and JW….at sidebars.

Oh my. Poor Nurmi, he built a defense based on lies and it's collapsing like a house of cards thanks to Dr. Feel Good. no wonder he looks ill.

Oh that’s tooooooo funny! But I threw up a little in my mouth thinking of him having sex. Nurmi is a big boy, but if there were only me and 2 men left in the world and I had to do one of them, I’d pick Nurmi in a heartbeat. At least, from what I’ve seen of him, I’d expect him to be kind and considerate and worried about my pleasure.

This just made me throw up my mouth a little

Thinking about the interview tapes, they would be extremely harmful to Juan. They show too much craziness and that would be to Jodi's benefit. Also, she asked to see the crime pictures. Boy could Nurmi and Samuels have a field day with that. They'd say "see, amnesia". We know she said things at random, but remember, lawyers would use it to their benefit.

At least, from what I’ve seen of him, I’d expect him to be kind and considerate and worried about my pleasure.

This just made me throw up my mouth a little
I got banned off their site but I can look at work for now. I do check the site daily to see the new crap. It makes me sick how these people believe anything Jodi and her team of "experts" say.

The rope you can buy at sex shops is soft, it is meant to feel nice-ish against the skin, it is not uncommon for it to come loosely in a plastic container. I suppose one could wrap it around the packaging to keep it straight, but if you are stretching it out, wrapping it around the head board, what ever, it is not going to tangle to easily.

Though I do not believe she ever had a rope.. so I guess my opinion doesnt make much difference lol

Karma is only a bitch if you are!

I think so, too. As he was losing blood, rapidly, the first thing the brain would begin shutting down would be blood supply to the extremities. He would be down, quickly, no matter.
