Maybe overnight they had little pouches in the chairs installed to hold barf bags, maybe a bible and trash bags for JA's side so they can spit their sun flower seeds in a bag instead of the floor. You know that poor janitor is cursing them at night. Just imagine how littered the floor is on her side compared to the prosecution side. Kinda like when the turn the lights on in a movie theater..yuck

Travis was a Leo. They love to be center stage. Those suits weren't clothes, they were stage costumes!

Haha I love hearing the stunned silence from Stabby's when Flores during the phone interview that they found TA's camera. Then after she's arrested and in the interview room with Flores and she's denying up and down that she was in Mesa and he says he can prove she was there, does she want to see the pictures?

She must have been going crazy trying to figure out where that damn camera was until Flores told her they found it.

Killing Travis wasn't her principal objective in going to see him--obviously she went there in pursuit of her principal objective--to somehow re-engineer Travis to obsess on her the same way she obsessed on him. As much as she couldn't stand the thought of not being the one and only in Travis's life, she couldn't bear the thought that some other woman/person could be. The whole sub-text of her complaints to him about not acknowledging her to his friends and associates as his 'special friend' and for not publicly proclaiming what she did for him has been subsumed within the mountain of other proof of motive, but it pretty well settles it for me. Jodi Arias could not stand the agony brought on by the thought of living without Travis Alexander, but, more than that, she could not stand the torment of Travis living on, happily, without her. That's a powerful force behind all of her stalking antics. It's a theme that has been offered in Literature/Drama, (See the 19th. century Swedish Playwright August Strindberg) as a reason for people fighting to remain together through long and desperately unhappy marriages. As much as some people hate being with their husband/wife, they hate even more the thought of the object of their hatred being happy apart from them. Jodi Arias is a throwback. Never mind her efforts to euphemistically present herself as a modern, emancipated female. Her whole being is anchored in her dependency upon relationships with 'her' men. I think the thought of Travis Alexander happily living on without her, while not the only element, was certainly a strong force in propelling Jodi Arias to consider doing what she finally did. It may have been a contingency, contrary to how she hoped things would turn out, but I'm convinced a plan to destroy Travis's life was in the back of her mind and she prepared herself to carry it out if it became necessary. That's motive premeditation and the physical preparations she made to execute her contingency plan proves premeditation, beyond any reasonable doubt, to me.

    I'll quit now.
This was an excellent post. The only question I really have left now is, "Why Travis"? Was it because he was the unfortunate guy who was around Jodi when she snapped? Or do you think her obsession with him is just so bone-deep that she just can't let go of him?

We're not being the least bit mean. If my kind, handsome, manly, son turned up in a suit like that I'd be puffed up with pride that I'm his dad. I always am. (...and I still ask myself, How the hell did that happen??)

If I could ask Jodi something, it would be: How come you made sure to have gas cans with gas when you drove in the desert, but you couldn't be bothered with having a working cell phone? Wouldn't a working cell phone be important in the desert?

And we sure this was not a costume party or a themed party he was attending?
Plus, I think some of his clothing choices represented the fun, exciting young man he was. One of the many things that drew people towards him, and why he was so effective at public speaking. He loved life....and that is what makes this case so sickening. That she extinguished such a bright and promising life.

Maybe we should ask Dr Samuels to evaluate you psychologically? He finds normal in the insane actions of a murderer so he might pry apart some of your normal layers to reveal all this for only 250 bucks an hour.

Please don't get me wrong,TA was a very handsome young man. I just didn't find the suit flattered him much. Being a teenager of the 80's I have my fair share of wardrobe faux pas documented in photos myself.

Agreed. And I actually like the whimsy of his choosing a 1920's gangster suit.
