Outside of her professional status, you've gotta wonder what kind of an example she sets for younger people, especially young women, looking to become Trial Lawyers. She gives the impression that ethics and morality don't count in life--so long as you win.
She gained nothing in her attempt to label Travis Alexander as a criminal sexual offender, but still she did it. A gratuitous slur that came out of her own personality and not the facts of the case!

One of Dr Drew's jurors was a young girl (high school age) and she sent a note to Willmott telling her how much she admired her and wanted to emulate her. I don't think for one moment that the DT truly believes this was all done in self defense. That is merely the argument they are presenting because that is the story their client is putting forward. So it is the DTs job to argue that theory.
