I was wondering because I'm on DST too. I watch the trial on livestream, tape HLN on mute and then my daughter walks in and goes WTF is going on here? To each his own, I guess. You do realize that HLN gets 3 hours behind when they pause for commercials, right?

The judge told the jury to be there at 1 P.M. today, so I guess we won't see anything till 4??
Yes..I can eat my dinner and watch the trial. Crazy!

There are a couple of people who aren't convinced about premeditation. What would it take for you to get to that point?

You have motive: Obsession, jealousy and anger. The nasty text from Travis threatening Jodi. The convenient theft of the gun two days later. The gas cans. The secret visit to AZ. The hair color change. The lack of receipts in AZ. The lies piled on lies. The mysterious knife and it's most convenient placement in the bedroom by Jodi. Travis in a vulnerable position, and a killing that took less than two minutes.

I don't understand. If you can't get to pre-meditation from all that, what do you need?

[Freethinker*said:Today*08:01 AMI'm having doubts about the verdict of a death sentence. The verdict for the boy who killed 3 schoolmates was 1st degree, lifer. When he went in for sentencing, he took off his shirt, revealing a tee shirt with the words killer on it. Then as he spoke to the family he flipped them and said fuck you!!!]

I found this to be a good read regarding his behavior..Enjoy..

I do the same thing, I also use my iPad mini to keep up with this forum. If I have to take a pp break, I take it in with me and use the wild about trials app so I don't miss anything. I can't wait for this trial to be over....

I only have my computer, will livestream work?

In a way I'll be glad it's over too, it's consumed my life. I hope not to get involved in another trial. I might check in on the Travon Martin one in June, but I think it will be too racially motivated, they insist he killed Travon because he's black. Plus I live within 20 miles of the courthouse, so we'll be swamped with local news.

I wouldn't give stabby satisfaction by printing details of that fabricated letter which was only meant to harm the reputation of the victim.

Couldn't they just check with the family of the little boy ( if he even really exists ) so they could nip that one in the bud and be done with it? Address it now so it can't be used later on an attempt to appeal.

I don't buy into the whole Jodi vs. Casey Anthony thing, but now I'm starting to think it's more like Jodi vs. Amanda Knox.

    1. Knox was doing cartwheels at the police station, Jodi's doing handstands
    2. Knox lied and tried to pin it on someone who wasn't even there , Jodi's ninjas
    3. Both used throat slashes
    4. Both were hit in the head (yeah right)
    5. Knox's ex got caught trying to board a train outta Dodge, Jodi was pulled over for upside down license place (she got away, though).
    6. Knox said police hit her and called her a stupid liar while in custody, Jodi was called a fucking idiot or 5 year old or something
    7. Knox's parents are indicted for libel after shit-talking the police, Jodi's mom or Matt or whoever forged those letters
    8. Both had prison buddies that were willing to testify to their character
    9. Defense attorneys argue that Guede's letter was based on "a feeling" and that his accusations are not based on facts or events he witnessed, Jodi's vengeful hearsay
    10. Both were forced to take a gander at their handiwork and looked away (Jodi was peeking, but still)

Looks like Jodi has a role model/hero worship thing going on

Knox ultimately ended up free, though, and I shall shit my pants if that happens with Jodi. I shall pee, too. Stabby bitches.
EXACTLY!!!!!!! Amanda Knox got away with it, made me sick to my stomach. She was doing splits and backbends at the POLICE STATION...Eerie flashback to that horrible case. Meredith Kercher was Amanda Knox's Victim...stabbed through the neck, all the way through. ARIAS and KNOX are very similar in my opinion. Happy to read your post, read my mind!!!

So you believe a borderline is pure nurture and has nothing to do with nature?
All of the disorders, whether Personality Disorders or Anxiety Disorders, are rooted in the unique chemistry or function of the brain. Science and research have suspicions as to what neurotransmitters are the likely culprits in causing these. And they don't understand any of it very well. There is also evidence to suggest that genetics plays a role in some of these disorders, as some are seen to run in families. With all of these disorders, the sooner the individual gets evaluated and treated, the better. Nurture certainly plays a strong role in many of these....but in the true disorders of the brain, none are brought on simply by being raised in a whacky home.

Great points. I can get to premeditation. I can also see her motive. However, JM really hasn't focused on it as much as I had hoped he would. Although the DT entered the text of 5-26-08 to prove abuse, I think it instead helped me see her motive. Travis called her a sociopath and the worst thing that's ever happened to him. That's huge! Unfortunately, JM never went back to those texts. Nor have we heard or seen the supposed Facebook message he sent her. We really haven't even heard more about the stalking claims, or doggy door, nor any testimony from people who knew more about her obsessive behavior. I know it's out there. IMO, more needs to be done to show motive. Hopefully that's coming in rebuttal and closing arguments. Sometimes jurors need it all spelled out for them...that's where I'm coming from. Although we see it, I want them to see it too. The couple people on here who are questioning things make me really nervous.

They can't be entered into the case, at all. The state determined those documents were forgeries.

I agree with you.....there are a few things I wished had been explored, further. The slashed tires......unfortunately, I don't think a police report was ever filed, and no one saw Jodi do it. That is probably why JM didn't go there. The angry messages, I think JM's failure to focus on those was merely part of his method to prosecuting her. Everyone knows that Travis was not a violent person....was not the manipulative abuser that Jodi is attempting to portray him as. There has got to be a reason why those messages were not introduced as evidence by either side. For JM, he wants to stay as far away from those as possible, because he doesn't want the jury to take these messages out of context and view them as support of what Jodi is claiming. Because it isn't true.

I watched some of the coverage of this case. The only thing that saved that little POS from the DP was his age. I'm sure there would have been many volunteers to flip the switches, when the time came.

Me too! Yes, we are addicted...a lot of us will need therapy and/or a 12 step program when this is over.

"Hi, I'm *crickets* and I'm an addict."
    MDSers: "Hi, *crickets..."

They say the first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem...

Dollface, I don't think Martinez was allowed to introduce the stalking/tire slashing, doggy door etc. stuff b/c none of it could be proven, therefore inadmissable.
