The ME testified on Day 3 of the trial that it could not have come first. Not only because it didn't bleed like it would if it was first, Travis would have been unconscious and therefore would not have gotten defensive cuts on his hands.
Then Jodi comes out about 2 weeks later and she says the shot came first.
Then the defense team has a claim that Det. Flores said the gunshot came first, told the ME the gunshot came first or something, I don't know.

It's Malarky, the whole defense is.

It just occured to me, the roomie saw the gate up. During the next few days, was it kept there? There are stories that dogs sometimes gave alerts to people that something was wrong with their owners. There is no mention that the dog acted any different than normal. The dog was in the house during the killing, didn't he react in any way to alert someone about anything?

Hodi put the gate up before leaving the scene aroung 6ish p.m. the 4th. Travis' room was locked. I would think the doggie would have been sniffing around the door though, but maybe they ignored it.

I think she stabbed him to death, then may have seen some twitching or Agonal breathing. She may have thought he was still alive so she shot him. I think the shot came last.

I think she used two weapons to indicate two attackers.

Well, to be fair, he has spent a lot of that money on flashy shirts and ties and even socks.

think this Ashley?s husband did have something to do with it along with possibly a roommate. I think her death was a result of her call to police. Even if they were going through a divorce, why would someone call police to tell them someone like that if it wasn?t true. Just doesn?t make sense.

Clearly Juan Martinez knows what he's doing. There were times when he had Stabbie on the stand and I thought, what is he talking about? One example is when he said to her "didn't you say Mr. Alexander cut your hands free with the knife?". As I was watching I thought, she didn't say that. Apparently she did say that to the quack but changed her story on the stand. Yesterday, it all made sense.

Martinez asked her a whole bunch of questions about what she told Samuels and Laviolette. He'll tie it all up (pardon the pun) in a nice pretty bow during his cross exam and his closing.

The attempted murder I witnessed as a child was committed using a small caliber gun (I think it was a .22). Despite being a smaller gun, it did a huge amount of damage, and it is almost miraculous that the victim survived. These guns can still be plenty deadly, especially up close and personal.

Ashley is from the Flores report. She called Flores and said that her husband might be involved with the murder. She later retracted that, and apparently killed herself sometime after Jodi was arrested. Other than that, I don't know.
