I also have to take issue with 2 more things. Whoever the woman portraying Jodi was, she tried to suggest Jodi had enough time to chamber a round and aim at Travis -- while he was still 2-3 feet away. That can't be. There wasn't time for that if we're to believe Travis is RUNNING after her. Unless he stopped to pose as a linebacker, she had no time to do that with Travis directly behind her.
Also, she has the gun ejecting to the left, which in most cases it would go to the right.

I beleive the gun was where she said it was....because that is where she put it when she arrived. Unfortunately for the defense, they can't tell the jury that.
She brought the gun and it was loaded but I beleive it was where she said was. They fiinally had a logical person explaining it just now. Yeah she killed him, but her story is possible. The gun shell casing is a non event. Could have been kicked around numerous times after the shot.
Yep. And the shelves are way lower than Travis'. The top shelf couldn't be more than 7 feet in the mock-up. When a guy is over 6 feet, he clearly doesn't have much jumping and climbing to do. They should've had the woman pointing the gun in the bathroom while trying to claim the linebacker thing do it. Or jeez, if they are going to do a recreation, couldn't they have hired a stunt woman for an hour? I bet they could've found someone Jodi's size who would've jumped at the chance to get some publicity and be on tv.
I'll have to wait until the video is posted online, but he really didn't do it the same way Jodi would've had to because of his height-reach. I wanted to see him actually jump up and put his full weight. Also, keep in mind, since he's trying to prove his point his way, he was approaching the shelves with that in mind. Jodi wasn't thinking about that IF she is running and rushing.
Mind you, I don't believe the gun in the closet or any of Jodi's story to begin with, so it's a moot point to me, but this is not a faithful recreation of the supposed event.

I totally beleive the gun was right where she said it was because I think she put it there upon arrival. She doesn't have to put full weight on the shelf. With momentum your foot is on the shelf as you are going up, one hand is displacing your weight as she said she used her left hand on another shelf. She didn't have to put full weight on any shelf to get the gun.
There isn't time though for that scenario to play out. It was 62 second from the time of the last picture of Travis in the shower, until the picture of her dragging him down the hall with a slit throat. I believe she was enraged, but if we go with her scenario, it's got to take at least what 30 seconds for him to body slam her, for her to get up and be able to run down the hall, through the bedroom, into the closet, climb up and grab the gun, then run back into the bathroom where she gets lucky and pulls the trigger before Travis can tackle her?
That means she would then have to run out into the hall a second time while Travis chased her a second time, and do 29 stab wounds and slit his throat in 32 seconds, to be caught on camera dragging his body back to the bathroom.
I suppose you could argue that she "just" slit his throat and then dragged him back and continued to stab him in the bathroom after the slit throat, but I believe that conflicts with the medical examiner's report on bleeding and whatnot. But, even if it didn't conflict, then we have her stabbing him repeatedly in the bathroom after slitting his throat, which is even more heinous.
I just think the timeline does not support her at all. She can't do the bodyslam, run down the hall, run thru the bedroom to the closet, climb the shelf and get the gun, confront and shoot him in the bathroom then run down the hall again, with Travis (with a bullet in his face) chasing her again, and get the better of him so quickly that she's able to slit his throat and start dragging him. All that in 62 seconds?
I believe she likely had the gun and knife in her backpack, which she was likely wearing even if her luggage was already in the car. She took the backpack off and set it down on the bathroom counter while she pretended she was just interested in a photo shoot.
I do believe the backpack has never been found, along with the bloody clothes and weapons.

I love how most everyone on here is such an advocate for TA as the victim and for the Alexander family. You are all so passionate and I hope you can find the time and means to donate to his family. I saw the PayPal acct posted a month or so back; thanks for reposting!
Dammit my reply to Justice somehow didn't end up in my last reply. Yeah, they are using a 6 foot plus guy.
I think the recreation is very anticlimactic. I thought they were going to do an actual recreation and time it. They did everything piecemeal and in slo-motion.
I certainly didn't expect anyone to actually bodyslam the other, lol, or run on wet tile, but you know, take off your shoes and do an actual pursuit. No one was chasing anyone, they just did a walkthrough.
