Seriously who is this guy for the defense on HLN saying that the DT is brilliant?
"I don't know what trial you're watching"???

You don't have a memory problem, do you?
Mid afternoon
Dr. is still up. JM is still up with cross
Did you give Jodi a gift? No
Didn't you give her a book? Yes
Didn't you think she was depressed? No
EX 532-It's a book on self help. There seems to be a blurring of the lines? No
Jr. bought the book for her because she couldn't get it. He bought it through amazon and sent it to her.
You were in a sense giving her money, right? I didn't look at it that way. He bought it for $9. (JM is pissed right now) You like her? I can't answer that question. Jr. seen her 12 times.
They spoke of many things. Sexual stuff too. (Oh, maybe the dr was wanting to try out some KY with Jodi) There is a code of ethics, yes? Yes, it wasn't a gift. Jr. yells out Jodi was suicidal. Doctor yells out he wasn't treating her.
Approach from the judge because they were yelling! (It was awesome)
The dr was not her treating her. Jr. said he doesn't know if she was getting treatment.
Your the dr that knows the rules, right? Yes, mostly.
You believe Jodi was suicidal? uh, she told us she was.
You don't have memory problems, do you? No
Don't you have a requirement to tell if you know somebody is suicidal? (they are yelling and the judge has to get on to them for yelling) Wasn't she suicidal? Yes.
Why didn't you notify somebody? Yes, her attorney was informed.
Why not medical person or jail people? Uh, I had no contacts in the jail.
Jr. wants to explain what suicidal meant in this case. (uh huh) Jr. just keeps saying he told her attorney. (LOL)
The dr. did not contact anybody else about Jodi being suicidal. The dr. bought her a self help book. You were assisting her? I did not conduct therapy.
JM is saying Jr was blurring the lines with Jodi. The dr. was trying to help Jodi get better. The dr. thought the book would help her.
NJ-past trouble- Didn't you sign an agreement with NJ that you wouldn't cross lines with another client? Yes
Jr. says he hasn't crossed a line with Jodi.
Fine to NJ- He also had to take more classes on the rules of being a dr and not crossing lines with classes.
JM is bringing up how JR doesn't tape record interviews. Jr. has to look at the book to say the correct name.
JM is bringing out papers. Jr. has only gave the test 15 times. JM brings up how Jr can't remember the name of the test. (LOL) One test is 49 questions, the other is 150. The 49, Jr scores himself, and the other is sent off.
JM is basically saying Jodi lied on those test.
Jodi lied on the test, JM says.
EX 533- the test. It's raw data. This dr. is actually not a dr. There is no MD behind his name.
EX 527 (I don't know. This dr. doesn't have the papers with him. The test that Jodi filled out) The answer sheet is missing!!!!!!!!!!!
Why did you use a pencil? We use pencils for those forms.
Jr. wants to know if JM thinks he cheated on that test b/c he used a pencil?
Defense asks for an approach after JM wants to admit in the test.
EX 534 admitted- Jodi's responses- Jan 15, 2010.
EX 533 admitted- The questions of the test- (basically a bunch of BS)
EX 535 admitted - Jodi's answers to the test- Doctor marked on the test. He admits that he should have did another test because the first one Jodi lied on it.
Why are you feeling it out and not her? Because that is the scoring guide (this guy is very sloppy with his paperwork.)
EX 527- question 22- (this guy doesn't know his ass from a hole in the wall) Uh oh, I guess there is another booklet. He doesn't have the booklet with him.
Page # 2 of EX 534 Question 16,17, 18- Why was there a 6 there first? I added them up incorrect.
It took Jodi 20 minutes to fill this test out.
She never had any problems filling these test out.
So if they are lying, the test are no good? Right
So she lied? Yes. (BOOM)
Approach (judge after Wilmont objects)
Jodi's story changed. The rope. She told Jr she was tied at the hands and feet. That's what was in his notes. He is saying he might have added it by mistake (WTF?????) Jodi also told him that Travis cut the ropes as he cummed. Jodi then got on top of Travis and that's when he took the photos.
EX 164, 165, 168, 169 - Jodi's porn pictures. JM just flat out calls Jodi a liar.
Approach (judge)
Jr. says he didn't view Jodi's story as a lie (What?) Jr. said he would discontuine treating them if they were lying.
JM is showing her the pictures. Jr is saying she wasn't having memory problems at the moment of the pictures.
JM is finished for the day.
Court is finished for the day.
Stupid Doc Dick Answers;
In response to-
*giving test while lying about Ninja story "perhaps I should have re-administered that test"
*question 22 from test "I guess the actual test is not here, I thought it was in here but it is not, I'm afraid I've left it home" OOP's
* Rope- tied at wrists & ANKLES "the fact is that most of the time ankles are tied... blah blah blah, but if I wrote it well, then it must have been stated"
* important to look at ALL pics to corroborate JA story "I didn't look at all the pictures"
* lied to over & over need to corroborate (not this case) "if I knew somebody was lying I would end the examination"

The doctor reminded me of Vizzini at the very beginning. I'm starting to think it's true after the use of the word 'conceivable.'
I was like - "That's not your line! It's inconceivable." I feel bad for giggling now.
Went to read about the book the "good" Dr sent Arias, there is a chapter 8 called The Justice Trap...
In chapter 8, "The Justice Trap," the author writes bluntly about the fact that injustice is committed every day and that if one has enough money one can get away with it. Poor people will rot in jail, while rich people get a slap on the wrist for the same crime. It is not an "erroneous zone" (self-defeating behavior) to notice the injustices of this world; the erroneous zone is the belief that becoming incapacitated with anger, guilt, worry, or indignation, by the injustices will change anything. Many heroic people try to change the injustices, and they are to be commended. But they often fail because they are against impossible odds. Year after year, century after century, the privileged few get away with what the rest of us do not. Is it fair? No! Should we convince ourselves that it is okay? No! Should we fool ourselves into believing incapacitating ourselves with worry and anger is going to change anything? No, again. If you can do something to end an injustice, then do it. If you can't, don't feel guilty.

Interesting, no? :)

I wouldn't be surprised if Doc Dick confesses to the murder by the end of cross. Great job JM!![]()

I don't mind the psychologist. I realize he's a defense witness, and that bothers me....
The doctor has been foolish, and he has made some mistakes, but I can't blame him for falling for Jodi's act. She's a top-notch liar. I was watching the 48 hours interview again, and I can easily see how someone could fall under her spell -- particularly if she is focused solely on you.
That woman is terrifying.
If a trained psychologist was so easily swayed by her, then what chance did Travis Alexander really have against her?
That was imply brilliant...Juans' best work yet![]()
