Yes, there's some irregularity and a lot of that is do to the um the drying of the wound thats happened after death, ah, I, if you inspect the edges it is actually a clean incised and its retracted a bit and gotten a bit larger after death because the tissue has dried and retracted away.

I think he used a shaving brush and a BIC style razor (which Stabby seems to imagine is "old fashioned"). Look at how he is holding it. That is not how you hold a straight razor. Nor is what is in his hand shaped like a straight razor.

While an old fashioned straight razor "might" have worked to slash his throat, you could not stab someone with it. It is not pointy or sharp at the tip. Plus, because they fold up to close & encase the blade, it would have been super unstable for any motion that put pressure on the tip. Plus, a straight razor would not be long enough to make the throat slash in a single cut (which is what it appears to be).

It had to be a knife.

Good point. I was not even considering the other stab wounds when contemplating as to if it were an old fashioned razor to slit his throat.

Same here. Old fashioned shave to me is like what they give a man at a barber shop so I was thinking straight razor. In his pic, he was using what looks like a regular old razor. Earlier I googled old fashioned razor kits, and here's a description from one of the results that popped up.

I bet that is what it was. That is a lovely set. And I can see how Stabby would call it "old fashioned", with a bone handle and all, and on a stand with an traditional shaving brush.



It also really fits Travis' "style". When you look at his furniture, it is all very classic, very traditional. He even has a very traditional style bench in his closet to sit on while getting dressed or putting on his shoes. This kind of razor set would totally fit in with that style.
