It looks like the knives they pulled out of the dishwasher -- exhibit 68 -- were steak knives. No way she did that to him with a steak knife. She took the weapon with her. It also seems like the knives from the butcher block are accounted for, so it was unlikely from Travis' house unless he had random extra knives.

I have always believed that she brought the knife with her. That belief is backed up by these pictures, as well as by the fact that when she was arrested, she was carrying 2 knives in her luggage. No idea her plans for those knives, but it reinforces the idea that Jodi does in fact travel with knives (and a gun).

Did they ever attempt to match the knives found in her luggage when arrested with the stab wounds?

I still wonder if she didn't use the blade that Travis shaved with. Wasn't it said that Travis liked to shave in the old fashioned way? I remember seeing the brush from an old fashioned shaving kit on the side of the sink closest to the window in his bathroom (the sink that did not have blood spatter all over it). I've seen the gaping neck wound photos and that wound just looked like a clean slice. I've never tried to cut anyone, let alone slit anyone's throat, but I would think you'd need an awfully sharp blade.

For those who fear JA may be spared the death penalty, perhaps you will take some "comfort" in contemplting what her "existence" might be like should she be so "lucky." I think living under such circumstances/conditions, for decades upon decades, might compel even JA to actually follow through with her yet unfulfilled wish to do herself in. I'm against the DP, mostly because of the abitrary manner in which it may be applied, the possibility that someone innocent might be put to death. But I could more easily sentence a person to death than subject any breathing being to such torture. Then again, if anyone is worthy of being sentenced to life in hell, it is JA. What do you think?

Does LWOP automatically mean solitary confinement? I'm under the impression that she'd be able to mingle with the general population (inside the prison).

This is what makes me the most SICK about this bitch. She has thought all along that she [B]controlled[B]this whole situation. That she could manipulate everyone in this case to do her bidding. When that didn't work, she fired her attorney's and then decided to represent herself and had her little friend write the pedo letters "from Travis". When that didn't work she decided she was in over her head and got the Sex Defense team and demanded lesser charges or she was going to drag Travis' repuatation and good name through the mud. She had the BALLS to give the State of Arizona an ultimatium.

Who does this psychotic bitch thinks she is? I saw her little smirk after court adjourned for the day.... she thinks she is going to get off.. and she for sure thinks if they convict her it will only be for manslaughter since she doesn't remember killing him and gee... she is such an awesome human being. SHe has NO redeeming qualities, she has NOTHING to offer this world. After seeing her in the interogation room with the tapes the jury will never see of her doing hand stands, complaining that she "should have at least put on makeup, gosh Jodi" and singing after being told that they knew she killed Travis, there is no reason to spare her life. She hasn't shown one ounce of remorse for what she has done.

I also love that JM seems to hate Jodi and wants her to pay for what she has done. I hope this is yet another DP feather he gets to put into his cap. I can tell you when he convicts her I am sending him a thank you gift to the prosecutors office. He is the man I want on my side if someone killed me or my loved one.

TA's family has more strength and courage in their little fingers than Jodi has in her whole Body. I respect them so much.

No straight razor documented or found anywhere. She said two ninjas killed him too. Just because slasher said it doesn't make it true. Travis' shaving pic on his myspace show him using a regular type razor like a Mach or Bic type with disposable blades.

Solitary confinement has legal limits and is used temp for punishment control purposes only. Even death row doesn't guarantee no socializing. Look at Scott Peterson! He's playing chess and going out in the sunshine. Slasher is an adapter, she'll fit in fine and smooze her fellow inmates and guards.

But again, using his childhood against him is blaming him. There are people from ALL walks of life that are victims of homicide. I don't know why you are looking to the victims to prevent their own murders. You can't prevent murders be it sociopath \ psychos or not is the point. I understand, really I do! Been there done that :( But I blame no one but myself, never been one to blame others for my own actions. I could have taken control of my own life instead of being weak. Could of walked away at the first teardrop, I didn't.
Dont we all wish there was a magic wand to pass down the hard lessons learned and more yet, they'd be readily accepted. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way all the time and like us, some will have to learn from their own mistakes. When young, we don't listen or don't know. I think the most important thing anyone can do is love and respect themselves! Easier said than done but the path to less hell in life at any age. Funny but the hardest lesson seems to remain it really is as simple as, work to always be your own best friend.

Not sure which ones you mean but, if it is the empty house ones, keep in mind those are after the crime scene was worked and you are probably seeing luminol type stains.

I think slasher brought her own weapons including her tire knife. wouldn't be surprised if she kept it and hid it away for her own enjoyment some where.

They (the forensic folk) studied the casing and came up with that the casing landed in the blood,not rolled into it.There would be signs of a blood smear on the casing if it rolled.There was only blood on one side of the casing.I think the shot came last to silence him and put him out of his misery.

I agree with you- I guess I have just read so many comments on-line about the bullet being on top of the blood as "proving" that it wasn't first.

There were lots of areas in the bathroom that did not have blood on them. So to me it seems entirely possible that a small bullet casing could be sitting on the floor and kicked around without any blood on it, and then wind up on top of some other blood from the attack. I mean these were two people battling in a violent struggle all over that bathroom, and then her trying to drag his body and maneuver it to put back in the shower. So lots of chances for a bullet casing to have been moved from where it originally landed, IMO.

again, though, at this point, I don't think we will ever ultimately know what actually went down in that bathroom.
